Gel chipped off after the shop was notified of other problems with the manicure. I’ve been here twice the first job was acrylics and wasn’t any better. Blocked my husband for bringing up these issues. And since there’s already a claim I’d never been there before and I see they’ve brought it up for multiple people, the texts confirming I’ve been. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Yes acrylics were my first service. Though this critique is focused on my second service, as its what I personally value more. The acrylics as an extension were an easier fix & I got them mainly as something to grow my nails length, which is something I’ve accomplished before with other acrylic applications. I OK’ed a second visit cause I figured a simple shape up & a gel clear coat was easy. If we want to talk about facts I didn’t include then fine. I didn’t mention they were filed crooked. I didn’t mention they had broken during the service. (It was noticeably shorter and crooked) I didn’t mention that I didn’t get to see how the natural nail service was going & what the shape of my nails were being filed into. I didn’t mention since my skin around my fingers have been flaking off & I can’t get it to stop for some reason. I only posted because its been so many days (…three?) & the gel is already chipping off. Now yes your salon didn’t take off my acrylics but, the issue doesn’t lie with that service but with the natural nail service. As for my husband’s claims he was explaining he knows what the business is like but with this quality a full refund seems most appropriate. I can’t be sure if other people are fake reviews or not but, I’d rather let people know mine is quite genuine. I knew my maiden name would show instead so to avoid any confusion I included receipts. As for the offer to get them redone, yes it is nice but, my work schedule is changed to make it virtually impossible to come, I’ve been twice & wasn’t impressed much already, as well as the fact that my drive is 30-45 minutes to reach the salon from my residence in light traffic. I’m also not a fan of dip, just a preference thing.

Very annoyed and almost walked out. My nail tech seemed to be the only one on the salon who could do designs (a Diagonal French tip) She had to stop almost every 5 minutes to assist her coworkers with their clients. I made an appointment so I could be in an out. When she was not doing that she was answering the phone. Probably would have finished my nails 20 minutes sooner if she would have focused on me. Her client. I felt like I was an inconvenience. Than one of her coworkers swapped with her to do my top coat. He proceeded to stop half way through many times. He even forgot which nail he had already put a top coat on. I also told my nail tech before we got started I wanted normal polish with acrylic. I did not want gel or dip bc I did not want to be charged for that! I went to pay and my total was $85 I assumed this was with my pedicure. I get home and they called me to tell me they didn’t charge me for my pedi!! $85?? Main take away: SHE PUT GEL ON MY NAILS AND CHARGED ME $85 after I told her not to do that. Not sure if she was too busy or just ignored me. Om upset. Especially since I asked for no gel just normal polish. I left feeling like I wasn’t as important as the other clients and scammed. **update** After reading other comments it seemed like others feel the same with not being taken care of properly. I’ve been coming off an on since the salon opened and this has only happened the past two times. Still disappointed They really need to hire a receptionist.

I decided to write this review as I am also licensed beauty professional. Beware UNSANITARY — very limited precautions — tools did NOT come out of sealed bag but rather saw them put back in a clear plastic boxes that was getting handed to other techs before/after use. The nail files itself were very worn down (had to file my nails myself when I got home) Both me and my in-law decided to get our nails done while she was in town. Choose this place based on proximity and seemingly good reviews. We made an appointment the day before and the day of we came in a little early too and were not serviced til 15 minutes after our appointment. We knew it being a Sunday it would be busy so we were trying to be understanding. But, the entire expierence and product is just NOT WORTH the PRICE they charge especially. The entire service was rushed through that my gel had bubbling and had to let them tech know. The next day, we came back because my in-law was also unsatisfied as her gel manicure was badly shaped and it did not adhere. We still tipped them appropriately BOTH visits too. Also my gel manicure that usually last 2-3 weeks at other places and experiences ended up looking like this by day 4-5 chipping and lifting on multiple nails. Charge less or keep the prices and produce a better quality product.

i went into this place and was seated quickly but i had to keep telling the male doing my nails this and that cause he basically just did what he wanted on my nails, i asked for clear acrylic with tips and he gave me clear tips, i asked for square nails and he fills them till they’re almost coffin shaped, the work looks so messy and he only used one coat of nail polish so my nails are literally see through. i even had him take them off twice cause he couldn’t get the placement right on my nail, some nails are bigger and thicker than other and files in all different shapes. yes i did a color change at the end of my service and they claimed it would take 45 minutes later which doesn’t make any sense because what’s the difference painting them white or pink?? plus none of my nails are the same shape or even similar. even left pink polish on my fingers and the other lady who did my moms set left w stuff on the tip of her fingers. i came back next day right when they opened cause they were closed the night before. I showed the lady at the front desk to look at my nails and she didn’t even glance, i even asked other people would they pay $75 for tips but the paint is literally see through. asked for a refund of half of $160. that’s literally what i paid for tips for two people and the lady up front said no refunds and when i asked where’s the sign she had nothing to say, she told me she can tell do them but i no longer wanted to be serviced by them. they also say that there doesn’t have to be any signs saying no refund but either way that’s something they should say if they’re not going a sign for it. i stood my ground and she called the cops and i stood for thirty minutes waiting for the cops before i took a recording of the salon where there was no signs of a no refund policy. I asked to speak to a manager and nobody could tell me if there was one or not they started ignoring me whenever i asked about management. also the lady doing my mom french tips rushed through the whole time and didn’t even file and of the edges leaving them sharp. if i’m going to pay almost $200 for french tips i would like my nails done how i asked. ( i came back the next day because they were about to close and the guy doing my nails was rushing because they were about to close and that’s why they look poorly done) and if you gotten your nails done before then you know the shape of a nail can’t go from coffin to square, you would have to start all over again. also my mom finished her set off w a hotel towel and lotion w out asking and i didn’t get that either. and whenever i leave a review they reply with having to do something with the color when that wasn’t the issue w my nails other than him doing one coat of light pink polish. and also reply w they could’ve re did my nails w no charge but you can’t change the shape from coffin to square which is what i asked for so why would i continue to be served by them. update two days of having my set, they’re already lifting at my cuticles, and my moms are as well, a strand of hair pulled through her nail in...

Before I can even get nails on my fingers, things went awry. Firstly I arrive and wait 20 minutes after my scheduled time to have my nails done. When the girl I was assigned to came up to me and didn't even introduce her self are started talking AT me telling me to find a picture of the nails I want and she will come back. Ok?? No basic communication skills. Then she comes back 10 minutes later and she starts drilling my nails. Everything was fine till she nicked me. I told her ow that hurts and she kept going. I told her that hurts, please don't do that again. She then gives me attitude and proceeds to tell me that this is what needs to happen to cut my cuticles and get it ready for the nails. (Mind you before she even started drilling, i let her know my nails are very thin so be gentle. ) I told her no, you do not cut cuticles or trim them with a drill , you use a cuticle pusher. I know this because my sister is a nail tech and I have seen many videos of nail techs on the internet doing nails! She proceed to tell me that is how you trim/cut cuticles. I told her to please move on to the next nail cause that hurts. This lady continues to argue with me about wanting to move on because she was hurting me. She completed disregarded my feelings and tried to justify her lack of common sense, customer service and education. Im sorry... but i didnt sign up to be TORTURED. I told her I do not want her doing my nails and i got up to speak to someone. Anyway long story short I tell a lady in the front what happened and I do not want to get my nails done here and left. Ridiculous. As it being my first time there you should be greeting people and be kind. If you dont know how to be kind , go work at a desk where u dont have to speak to people. Getting my nails done is a self love /self care thing i dont do often, and to have someone treat me with complete disregard of me feeling pain is something i refuse to tolerate, it will not get better from there. I deserve respect and to be treated kindly where I am getting a service done that i will be paying for. Avoid this place at all costs and the lady with the ash blonde hair bob cut hair! A terrible nasty person lacking in social cues, awareness, education, communication skills, customer service, respect, and kindess. God...
