Yoga Box — Local services in Denver

I’ve been going to different Denver Yoga Box locations for about 2 years now - mostly in Cap Hill and RiNo. I really like the classes and the availability of times for them! Most of the teachers are great, all of them are good, and I’m always getting a good sweat. Definitely more of a work out than yoga sometimes. I think the rooms can get a little too hot and sometimes crowded, making other folks sweat on my mat which is truly gross but sort of comes with the territory so I now know what to expect. I would like to give 4/5 stars but I’m removing another star because I get constantly inundated with “exclusive offers” from Yoga Box to pay their $100 monthly membership (I use classpass to attend their classes as it works better for me). I’ve responded to emails and texts asking to be removed from the promotion list but I get them monthly, if not multiple times a month. It’s frustrating and an annoying sales tactic that makes it hard to prioritize the studio. Overall though,...

Not to be dramatic, but Yoga Box has changed my life. I was so fed up with the regular gym being overcrowded, having broken equipment, and rocking the fluorescent lights (not a vibe). I joined Yoga Box because my friend would not shut up about it, and it took one class to realize that it was the place for me.

With just a few weights, a yoga mat, and 60 minutes of my time, I get the best workout in the Yoga Sculpt offering. Gym machines be damned. The lighting, music, and number of people in the class makes my workout feel intentional rather than a weekly checklist item.

My body feels stronger and so much more flexible than before. I'm actually seeing improvements and growth, which isn't something I would typically see at the gym, where I'd go for maintenance only workouts.

If I have one complaint, it's that Allie B. doesn't have more classes....

After leaving Allie’s Sunday Flow today, I was so blissed out that I walked right by my car and continued walking for a block until I realized I had, in fact, passed my car. It’s challenging finding a studio that focuses on YOGA instead of a workout with an essence of yoga (unless burpees are an asana?), but it’s clear that Yoga Box understands. Allie was incredible in guiding a practice that continually held awareness to breath, especially guiding awareness to allowing the sustainability that is breath. She guided us in a beautiful flow, her cues were clear and emphasized safety, a soundtrack that upheld the energy of the flow… Simply a lovely practice. I’m so grateful for Yoga Box and look forward to building my yoga community with Allie, Sunday...
