I have lived for 57 years without really being exposed to "art," but last night I got to see Two Books: An Interdisciplinary Performance with Alexis Gideon and Robin Cantrell, and all I can say is, "Wow!" As a "newbie," I was unsure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by how thought provoking the performance was. Robin and Alexis were both FANTASTIC, and I will be reading Jung's The Red Book: Liber Novus sooner rather than later.
Oh, and the theater itself was gorgeous, both "old yet updated," and small enough that it still felt cozy. I will be coming back to check out other shows hosted...
Read moreMy friends and I just went to an event here called Mixed Taste, where they have speakers on 2 different topics and the audience can ask questions to draw connections between the two. It was educational, entertaining, and creative! Had no problem seeing or hearing the speakers sitting halfway back. They had alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for sale. Read moreWe hosted a benefit concert at The Holiday in April of 2024 and the venue and staff exceeded our expectations! The communication with the venue has been great through the whole process and the staff day if the event were all great!
The venue itself is so beautiful, clean and cozy. The lobby worked great for registration, silent auction and a sponsor reception.
