My original review is below, and in it I had just given them 1 Star because I wasn't happy at all ...fast forward: CTS has reached out to make it right - BRAVO TO THEM! They took the computer back, did their best to get it up and running, to no avail so they are giving me a refund on the repair charges and hardware/software charges. This is how you fix a bad situation; face it head on and make things right! Thank you CTS!
Original review: Brought my HP laptop in for an issue - would not boot up, would start, then shut down. They talked me into Windows 10, which I added, charged me for the "repair" and sent me home - long story longer, I brought back 2 more times, they finally said it was the mother board, so I paid for and had them install a new one....problem STILL with turning off - by this time with the addition of the new mother board, plus Windows 10 I have about $400 into it. I sent a message thru their website - NEVER received a response. Bought a new laptop, had another person transfer data from the old laptop and he asked. Who did the install of the mother board? Why, I asked: hard drive upside down, cable routed under the hard drive, screws missing and wrong screws used, start button not fully latched, didn't use care in opening...looked like the "work of an amateur". I cannot and will not recommend CTS for any...
Read moreDisorganized and dishonest! Local Vet trying to support local Vet business. Dropped off my external hard drive for diagnostics 5 months ago. Never got a call about the hard drive. About two weeks later I called and were told they they could not fix it. They recommended a company that they work with for data recovery and that they would send it in with other hard drives for analysis and that the company would call me. For the next 4 months I called CTS several times to finding out the status and verify my contact info cause I had not heard from them. CTS supposedly checked status and said they were backed up when I called back. After 4 months I called the third party company they supposedly had sent my hard drive to track down my hard drive. They had no record of it ever receiving it from CTS or Mark the owner. I confronted CTS in person to get a case number which they were not able to provide and then handed me my hard drive with no info of the third party analysis. CTS worker told me to call Mark to get the info. Called Mark to get the info and he said he would get the info and call me back. He never called back. Basically hard drive seems to have sat in the office for months and I was lied to about it being sent and the status of it. ...
Read moreIt's a little late but, I had been gathering all the parts to build a high end gaming pc for a couple months. Come the day of building the pc, I get everything assembled and I boot it up well I got it to boot but couldn't get to load into windows without black screen. So I decided I wasn't going to mess up any further and take it to a professional. I called around other places and couldn't get a reply, so I call these guys and they tell me to come right in. I bring it there, explain what's going on, also I did a horrendous job with cable management so I had asked if he could do that and he gave me a price. I offered to pay extra to see if he could finish by the end of the day, (I didn't want to be that guy, but it was friday and I knew I had to wait till monday to pick it up and after spending 8 hours too long on building it I just wanted it to be done) for the life of me I can't remember his name but both guys were kind and knew their stuff. But he got it done in about 2-3 hours. For a good price too. I'd give more than 5...
