I reached out to Intracoastal Experience for our multi family fishing vacation to Destin, Florida. I needed two fishing boats and Capt LW answered my many questions while accommodating our needs with timeliness and ease.

On the day of our private group charter we boarded fishing boats with Captain Chuck and Captain Jeff who were extremely personable with all of us to include our younger anglers who no doubt were excited to go catch fish.

Once at our fishing spots and throughout our deep sea fishing adventure Captain Chuck and Captain Jeff provided expert coaching and demonstrated the type of family and kid friendly patience you’d expect from seasoned professional fishing guides. We quickly started catching many different types of fish to include snapper, grouper and triggerfish. It was truly a fun-filled experience and we never had to wait very long for our captains to assist with taking our fish off the lines and baiting our hooks.

In retrospect we’ve been on many fishing charters and were simply amazed by the advanced knowledge possessed by these captains of their fishing areas as well as the cleanliness of their boats. The quality of their fishing equipment was also top notch.

At the conclusion of our fishing tour both captains cleaned and filleted our catch which was enough for a few family fish fry’s. It was pretty obvious these guys had earned all the 5 Star Reviews I’d read online about them. I truly came away feeling I’d finally found a fishing charter as well as a new group of friends me and my family could plan future trips with for many years to come.

Incredible time! We came down to the beach for our country’s birthday looking forward to a relaxing time. We waited until the day before to book a charter, but we still did thorough research to find the best place to go. That’s when we stumbled upon the crew at IntraCoastal Experience. We read scores of great reviews, and ultimately decided to cross our fingers that we could secure a charter with Captain Chuck. Lo and behold we got in touch with them right after a group had cancelled on them for the next morning, and they told us, “by the way you’ll be with Chuck.” From the moment we walked up, Chuck was professional, funny, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable in his craft— he has 10 years of experience but it easily felt like 30 or more. We shared many laughs, interesting stories, and had a great time cutting loose with out on the water. By the time we pulled back to the dock it was clear it had been a rough day for everyone else on boats who were not driven by Captain Chuck. Barely any fish were caught. No bites. Sad day. But not us. Not with Chuck! We would’ve been fine with the camaraderie alone, but much to our delight we caught plenty of fish to take back home with us. Ended up just one away from the red snapper limit, plus a few mangrove and a couple of mahi too. We were more than pleased with our trip and will look nowhere else for all our future...

My father in-law and I went out today and did some nearshore fishing with Captain Chuck with IntraCoastal Experience. I can’t express enough how great of a time we had with Captain Chuck, he is very personable, and passionate about his guide trips. Even when we caught our own bait it was fun and exciting. It took about 15min to get our bait caught and we were off to fish. We first started trolling for Spanish and King Mackerel, if Captain Chuck didn’t like the action we were getting, then we reeled up, and headed to the next spot. We also did some bottom fishing and had a ton of action which a lot of the fish were not in season so we had to catch and release. It was very fun to catch those fish even though we couldn’t keep them. Captain Chuck told us exactly what to do and how to do it. We ended the day with four King Mackerel, three Spanish Mackerel, and two Mingo snappers to take home. But we caught tons more fish then that but just couldn’t keep them because of the season. We also had one King Mackerel that was an inch to short to keep and two King Mackerel that got off right at the boat. At the end of the trip Captain Chuck dressed all our fish!
