We just finished 2 days of fishing with the family (8 - 16). The best fishing trip I've had since the last time we used this charter. This time we asked to go after "bigger" fish, so we ventured out to the amberjack.

Captain Judah is a fish mystic. He found a spot we liked, and 1st mate Justin gave us all careful instructions on how to properly land such a fighting fish. Perfectly prepared us. We dropped lines, counted out the seconds recommended, and got hit immediately. HARD! We were hauling in Jack like mad! Big MF's! One tried to steal my wife, but I faught him for her and won. Later, I had to fight a shark to keep my jack. He took nearly half. Fantastic!

If you want non-stop action with a personal 2-man crew who will give you all they have to give you the best fishing trip of your life, this is the charter to use. Justin worked worked with blazing speed to keep us fishing nearly 100% of the time. He is also a patient teacher who has a talent for helping you to learn to fish in the best manner for the target at hand. Really encouraging to kids, he taught, entertained, and applauded success for hours on end. That's a lot of work.

I've been on Charter fishing boats since I was a kid. My grandfather, father and my own kids have always added it to our vacation plans, sometimes determining where we go based on the fishing! If you are in the area to do some real fishing, the Stelluna is absolutely the perfect boat. Its size allows for everything to keep you comfortable, but makes it nimble enough to land monster sharks, mahi, tuna or cobia to a boatful of snapper, triggerfish and grouper. Captain Judah will impress you with his ability to chase trophy fish with the most experienced of anglers, but can also put first timers on nearly any type of gamefish they are willing to tackle. His knowledge of these waters and experience with this boat makes you immediately feel like you have just been invited to hang out with a buddy of yours who just wanted to spend the day fishing. Don't be surprised when you even find him with his own line in the water right next to you trying to hook you some more dinner. This is a man who loves to fish. Looking for the perfect fishing charter for kids and adults, look no further than Stelluna Charters!!! We had 4 adults and 3 kids on board our tour and from the moment we left the dock, it was all about the kids and ensuring they had a fantastic experience! We started by fishing for bait fish which was super cool because the kids were reeling in 4-5 fish at a time. Then we started trolling and caught mackerel and bonita, each person in our charter had the opportunity to catch several fish. Then Jake asked the kids if they wanted to catch shark and their response was a resounding YES!!! So he proceeded to show our kids how to filet a fish (sushi for us-yum) as well as get the rods ready for shark. I’m not sure if it hurt or helped the situation to utilize Jake’s speaker to play the theme from Jaws, but nonetheless the first fish on was a huge barracuda, then each person had the chance to catch shark.
