Destin Community Center — Local services in Destin

Beach wedding, reception location. Great location. Ivy was wonderful to work with although I called a million times to ask questions. Day of wedding different employee (older lady) was there. We were almost an hour late with setup for reception due to traffic. Her frustration was told to us when we arrived. We apologized but the constant poking because she was pissed of our late arrival was not needed. I think employees has to remember you're there to do a job that the city has hired you to do, not act as if you own the property. Do you job professionally, get your pay check...

So me and 7 other vehicles paid for 7 days of parking on May 23 and May 24 we all got parking tickets for 33$ the guy that gave us the tickets knew we had paid the day before and still wrote the tickets I have proof from where I paid for 7 days and will get the ticket dropped one way or another... but what I’m saying is that this place is crooked they make you pay to park and then on top of it write tickets stay...

One of the only places in Destin that has an indoor basketball court but hardly ever have open gym anymore. On the rare occurrence they do you’re lucky if it’s more than an hour. I called and was told one time, arrived and was told another, called again then was told another. No one seems to know what’s going on that...
