I read all the reviews before picking this place because I was homesick and needed Asian food. I'm sorry, but whoever wrote that this was "Authentic" has never had real Thai food. Idk where to start.. I ordered Sticky Rice and you can clearly tell it was refrigerated or frozen then microwaved, the Beef salad was on a bed of iceberg Lettuce with the Sliced Beef that seemed to be boiled then served (it was sad, real sad), the pad see ew had a weird sweet taste to it like its a chinese version, the pot stickers were frozen out of a bag (which was probably the best thing), the papaya salad was ok. I had to ask for more lime, but it only tasted like fish sauce, sugar, lime and pepper. My husband ordered sweet tea and the waitress put 5 packets of sweet n low in the tea. It should have been telling when we walked in and seated there was a big party that must have just left with their food barely touched. I'm just disappointed how expensive the food was with such mediocre to no effort taste. Waitress asked for a Google review because they have been only open for 2 months. I'm guessing they took over this spot? Anyway, this my...
Read moreWe were here early at 4:45pm, and only 2 more tables occupied by the time we left at 5:45. So busy cannot be an excuse for the lack of service. We ordered the “Red Curry Paste with coconut milk & vegetables”. When I think of paste, I think thick and/or creamy. It was thin as or thinner than water if that’s possible. My wife and I ordered the same thing each and needed more rice . . . yes more rice to try to give it a little consistency. So we waited and waited and waited and waited to no avail. No service whatsoever. Now I am NOT hard to please, and I consider myself a good tipper for anything from ok service to medioker good service (25%) and much better (30-40%) for superb service. Well then after giving up and finishing the soup we waited and waited and waited for the bill to no avail. So we got up and stood at the counter for 10 minutes until we were finally noticed and no change for $100. After 15 minutes total at the counter we were finally on our way and I must confess, I did not tip. I would have much rather had good service and left 25% in spite of the watery soup. I can’t recommend any since this was my 1st...
Read moreVisited several times for lunch and dinner. The hostess was very nice and promptly refilled our water and checked in with us. Food was great! We tried the Pad Won Sen (refreshing, huge portion), Pad Thai (one of the best I’ve had), Tom Yum (complex flavor and comforting), Pad Prik Gang (spicy and tasty), Mango Sticky Rice (not too sweet, also huge portion), and Thai Tea (not too sweet, perfect tea-to-milk ratio); all delicious! If something isn’t spicy enough, they will give you chili powder on the side to make it spicy to your liking. Best Thai restaurant around Destin that we tried! Definitely worth a stop. Especially great if you’re doing activities at or around Destin Harbor Boardwalk since it is right across the street! Please support this...
