This is the worst storage facility I have ever used. I reached out to Shelby in early March with regards to getting a storage with a set rate for one year. She ensured me that she could guarantee a set rate for a year as long as I put my account on auto pay which I did. Every month I received a notice stating my account was past due and I had to call Shelby to run my card. As with all storages I received an email stating effective Sept 1 my storage fees would be raising. They would actually be higher than where I previously had a unit. When I called Shelby about this, she said she didn't tell me that and when I called her out about flat out lying to get my business, she actually hung up on me. I reached out to the district manager who as you can imagine hasn't bothered to call anyone back. Today I reached out again to the Regional manager, who i am also assuming will never call back. I don't have an issue with paying the money. My issue is that you flat out lied to get my business and I truly do not want to do business with people like that. If you make an agreement, you stick to it or don't make....It is sad people aren't even as good as their word anymore. I will be vacating this unit the end of this month and I will would never recommend this company to anyone as you most likely cannot trust...

Then she wanted to stand there and play the blame came saying it's the company's fault but eh I don't care who's fault it is just get it resolved. It was only when I said maybe we should start a new reservation and start all over that I was able to finally get out of there. However what I'm leaving a 1* for is the fact they did not make sure the lights were working on the auto transporter. They went through the motions getting em to turn on the signals but it was not working. I should have checked myself. So I had to call a technician and he has to rewire the trailer light connector, rewire a running light, and completely replace another running light. I get it you wanted to go home but you didn't make sure the trailer was safe. Your impatience can get someone hurt. They might say oh it was working when we checked but the tech said it was so corroded there is no way it could work. There was so much wrong with the trailer it took him a good hour to fix them all and even had to run and get a part...

But when we reached there with all our stuff, the store was closed, we had to call the number that was on the notice placed. The employee did come there fast. But the instructions given to find our storage unit were not accurate, so we had to go back and find her, after which she came with us and showed us another unit. That unit worked. But with all the hard work of us loafing our stuff into our van, taking it there and then facing these delays and inconveniences, it was not a pleasant experience. Of ourse the person told us that she was very busy with other areas, and she was the only one running about. We understand that.
