Hello my name is Lee Rhodes and this is the second time that I have eaten at a Popeye's restaurant and I have a story I would like to share in reference to the review that I have placed with gratitude. I live in northern Bartow county and this restaurant that I ate at today is in I believe austell Georgia. I've never eaten Popeyes before as I have been very particular about where I eat chicken so my friend and I Sabrina Bell decided to go and grab some dinner and she talked me into going to eat at Popeye's instead of Zaxby's and I said okay I've never eaten there before so I'll give it a try and I was normal at the beginning and we pulled up was greeted and asked for a moment before I could give them my order they said yes take your time so in a few moments I decided what I was going to try for the first time my friend knew what she wanted so we waited waited we wound up being there for 30 minutes and not receiving any type of communication, service, nothing it was really weird and to this day I don't know what happened but so we wound up eating Arby's that night so fast forward to last week we saw a Popeye's over here on Thornton road and decided to give it another shot at my first meal at Popeye's and I'm so happy and thankful that it worked out the way it did the store at this location is absolutely filled with love the service was beyond what star ratings for words for a review or to be rewarded with it's just not enough this was a great thing for Popeyes if you asked me because the ladies there at that store in particular the crew person named Jennifer this person should be the spokesperson should be in contact with every customer we love her the concept of Love is natural and abundant the food was spectacular delicious and delivered with professionalism today I went back for my second meal at Popeye's and got to see the :-) :-) of Jennifer and the crew and once again it's a wonderful day so to end this is thank you to Jennifer and that Popeyes could have lost a customer instead we are abounded with another relationship that is great for all in that Popeye's enduring platform to produce love for the community through this food and services in the people in employees thank youand thank you Popeyes for the lady whom we love Jennifer at...

I understand working in a fast paced environment, especially in kitchens, but you've got to have boundaries/limits especially when you're coordinating your team. We ordered through the drive thru, one of our meals were missing a side and had the wrong part of the chicken in the box. Luckily, we caught this before leaving the parking lot. I walked in to have my order corrected. I was greeted by a wonderful smile from one of the employees and he was very helpful in correcting my order for me. Yet, the shift lead (who in fact, was responsible for the errors) whom had no people skills and was rude to her employees, had taken it upon herself to claim that she didn't mess up and she put the side in the bag. After the afformentioned young man gave me the right piece of chicken, the lead instructed me to check my bag for the missing side. I went back to my car to ask my fiance to check once more. Of course, we never received the side. So, I had to walk back in for a second time to retrieve my side and brought the empty bag with me. I had gotten my side, but also with a side of attitude from this woman once more AND she offhandedly said she thinks I'm just trying to get free food. I said thank you to her (even though she didn't deserve it), with no reply not even any eye contact, and I was so mad that I had also forgotten to ask for napkins that we didn't receive in the first place either, before storming out and preventing a nasty situation that I would have started! Lord, bless the workers for trying to make an honest living under her supervision. I would've given 5 stars if it weren't for her...

I hate to rate or speak bad, people are working hard & doing their best but it wasnt a good experience at all at the other spot... & I lost so much time there that day, had a huge order called in earlier & placed for a hungry grieving family waiting across town after a funeral service for their loved one. Order was ready for pick up at tbe other location well in advance of my arrival...but they refused to accomodate - recycled me back into a 30 minute wait in the hot long car line to drive up to the cashier window - I could not do it & add 30 minutes travel time to boot. They refused to process the payment even though a worker on her lunch break inside came out to my car, listened & trued to help by taking my card inside (they held onto it for about 5 minutes- I didnt like that). The mgr still didnt put my payment though even the order was sitting right there packed up on the counter for over 20 minutes & I had to walk in front of a customer in the car line, to the drive up window to ask the mgr to send my card back out to me.
They were to slammed & short staffed that morning I felt bad for them & everyone in fact so I ended up "Plan B'ing" it elsewhere.... had to cancel the order there & go to a less crowded location. My colleague called ahead for me, explained dilemna, Popeyes Fairburn Road was on it... stood by anticipating my momentary arrival, accomodated with caring smiles - no issues or push back or being sent to the back of lines. Paid & picked up without pain. In & out in under 2 minutes flat. Got to the family in decent time...
