US Beauty Mart — Local services in Douglasville

I just got back home after a very disappointing trip to this store. I arrived at 7:50 p.m. expecting to grab something quickly before they closed for the night. To my dismay the store was already locked. Someone then spoke to me through the door and said that they were closed. I said" I thought you guys close at 8 p.m." The employee who was speaking to me through the door responded and said: "we close at 7:45 p.m." I find that very interesting because on the website it's clearly states that they close at 8 p.m. Also on the same receipt that I received from the store earlier today it also says 8 p.m. Clearly they decided to close early on a whim tonight. This store is very unprofessional in how they deal with their customers. They have little to no regard for those who need to make last-minute runs and who do so on good faith that this store will honor the hours that THEY have posted. This is actually why I typically don't go to these kinds of stores and why I now shop online for my cosmetic needs. Clearly management does not value the demographic that it owes it's success to. I don't really blame the employee because for all I know she was following instructions. I do however hold management responsible for this lack of professionalism. This experience was a nightmare. This store is a rip off. They told me they would take 40% off 2 wigs and credit me 27 dollars off a exchange. They not only did not give ne my 27 dollar credit, but they calculations are wrong on the 40% off the wigs. This how they calculated it 39.99. -40%, which is calculated with subtraction. Percentage is actually suppose to be 39.99. ×.40, which is done with multiplication, and this will give you the amount that you should be paying after the 40% is out.
