Last night I went there for tacos. The lady with the glasses at the counter had very poor customer service skills. I ordered 2 shrimp tacos, 1 fish taco and a beef taco, no cheese on corn tortillas. I repeated those exact words several times because her body language made it seem like she wasn’t fully listening. She turned her back to the computer to put the order in while I was talking! When the food came out, it was 1. wrapped to go even though I was staying 2. Had cheese 3. Was in flour tortillas 4. None of the sauces/condiments that were actually supposed to be on the shrimp tacos were on/in them. Number 4 wasn’t her fault but when I asked her if the tortillas were corn and SHE SAID YES!!! A CLEAR AND BLATANT LIE! She was looking right at them! I can’t eat cheese or gluten (flour tortillas) so I triple checked before she ordered it but she tried to lie which means I don’t even trust she put in the order correctly.
So they took it back and “fixed” it and then it was ALL COLD and NOT TASTY. Especially the beef one. It was like they just slopped it together too because the ingredients were everywhere!
As I sat there eating my cold and nasty food she was there socializing and laughing with her coworkers. I really could’ve used something to drink and was trying to get her attention to no avail. You would think someone in customer service would know that when you eat you also want to drink. She could’ve offered me a water or something.
Then i order some wings to go and she told me a large order had come in before mine and my wings would take an hour or more. I used to work at 5 different restaurants and multiple bars. There’s something she could’ve done to expedite that for one single order. Smh. I tipped her $2 but would’ve tipped her waaaay more had she had better customer service. Read moreThis used to be my favorite Mexican Restaurant since I came to Atlanta. Yesterday that all changed. I went there to celebrate my birthday. Had a very rude manager named Jessica ruin my meal. She displayed the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. It all started when my grandson ordered the chicken wings. The price increased. 9 PCs from $9/$15 & 20 PCs from $18/$28. It would have been fine had the prices on the menu been changed or the server announced the price change before we ordered. Instead he told us after we ordered. Jessica being the manager was to make it better. Instead she came over & explained price changed a month ago. Menues are changed when they get to them. It’s not the restaurant’s fault that new menus were not available yet. She explained she would not budge from the new price no matter what was printed. She acknowledged that my daughter spoke with her & she knew it was my birthday but what we needed to know was that she was in charge and we could pay the new stated price, order something else or leave. She said she would not say what the owner’s name was. We took our food to go, paid and left. Needless to say, there was no celebration!! Read moreI have been here several times and had a great experience however this all changed last Thursday. I waited to leave a review because I wanted to speak to the owner. The owner has been non-responsive so l’m leaving my review. Our visit last Saturday was the worst. The restaurant was not very crowded but our waiter took forever to take our order, bring our food, and our bring our checks. He did not even bother to check on us while we waited. This really upset our group (4 people) as he went back and forth helping others around us. Upon receiving our checks we noticed there was an up charge on the drinks. I pulled my receipt from 5 days prior and showed it to the manager he only said the prices had gone up that morning 😳😳. There were no notices of a price change nor were prices listed anywhere. Even after discussing the bill we still had to wait for someone to collect our money. In fact, I had to go to the kitchen to get someone to take my payment. The manager was unapologetic of our experience. Instead of tending to our grievances he chose to sing happy birthday with his workers to other consumers. Needless to say it will be a very long time before I return to this restaurant. I recommend Taqueria Jalisco on Fairburn instead, much better...
