We visited on a Saturday, early afternoon. As we entered a gentleman behind the counter told us the menu was on the wall. The glass case and the floor were dirty. No one ahead of us, no line. We ordered two items. The crepe was not even luke warm. The sandwich was good. We wanted to pay cash and because we didn't have exact change, the gentleman wasn't willing to count the change so we paid by card. There was a table of 4 seated near the case, one gentleman at the table obstructed our view of the items in the case with his legs and feet. The gentleman behind the counter spent more time talking to him than being hospitable. As we left, the same man who took our order and rang us up was near the exit door. We walked right by him and he didn't bother to say anything; no thank you, have a good day, hope to see you again....nothing. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. It wasn't crowded at all. Open tables inside and out. Making people feel welcome, being friendly, clean and courteous all make a difference. We drove 40 minutes to try it out and they missed the hospitality of it all. Edited comment after reading owner's remarks. To assist you in determining who provided the service I'm including a few more details: Our visit took place on Saturday, 5/24 between 12:45p and 2p. The gentleman was between 30 and 40 years old. He was not heavy. He had the authority to take an unopened bottle of water and toss it to the table of 4 without ringing it up and no one at the table went to the register to order it or pay for it. Hopefully, that's enough information to...
Read moreWhat a magical discovery! I stopped by Le Caramel by Chefsetee after lunch just looking for a dessert and a coffee and it turned out to be the best decision of my entire day. I tried the almond croissant filled with chocolate and the almond croissant filled with white cream, and I honestly have no words. These were not just pastries, they were an experience. The flavor, the texture, the balance it was otherworldly. It reminded me so much of true French patisserie… delicate, flaky, rich, and full of depth.
With every bite, I felt like I had been transported to a café in Paris. The outside was perfectly golden and crisp, and the inside was soft, buttery, and filled generously with the most exquisite fillings. I couldn’t stop thinking about them as I walked back to my car, so of course I returned to buy more to take home. They’re addictive in the best possible way.
This place is an absolute must. Whether you’re looking to relax alone, catch up with a friend, or simply treat yourself, the ambiance is calm and inviting you can sit, talk, enjoy a beautifully crafted coffee and dive into the kind of pastry that makes you close your eyes from pure delight.
The service was amazing warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can feel the love in every detail, from the counter to the croissant.
I truly can’t stop thinking about those pastries. I think about them every single day now. Do yourself a favor and visit. This place is joy in...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing and exactly what I was hoping for. A rare legitimate French cafe in the heart of commercialized theme park land.
The owner and his brother are the only two operators from what I can tell so they will work at their own pace, so expect that, but when your food and drinks arrive they will be truly perfection.
The cappuccino was silky smooth and buttery, not a hint of bitterness. The almond croissant was mind blowing. Crispy but incredibly moist. I said several times it was the best I’ve had in my life and I have tried many while traveling in Europe.
My wife and I also got the raisin croissant which was equally impressive. I am absolutely blown away by the quality, warmth, and crispy but moist texture of pastries that are sitting out and ready to go. Clearly made daily but still, extremely impressive
I also ordered the happy eggs which were cooked perfectly and the greens they came with fresh and delicious. A healthy breakfast choice compared to most of what’s offered in the area.
My wife got the spinach omelet which she said was perfect as well.
Even the small side of bread was delicious and that’s usually the part that gets ignored in a French breakfast.
You won’t need butter for a single thing, it’s all perfect as is.
I will absolutely be back, this would be a regular spot for me if I lived in the...
