The place appeared to be satisfactory when I last visited it six months ago; however, following my experience today, I have become extremely apprehensive. On Tuesday evening at around 8 pm, my companions and I arrived at the location, and we were met with a deserted environment with only one individual present, whose name was Simon, and he was courteous.
Upon arrival, we placed an order with Simon for gobhi manchurian and paneer biriyani. After waiting for approximately ten minutes, we were presented with the gobhi manchurian. The appearance of the dish was abysmal, receiving a 0 out of 10 rating from me. I have even posted a photograph to verify my claim. After tasting the dish, I must say it was the worst food I have ever had the displeasure of consuming.
I am an epicure and frequently dine out, and my reviews typically have a rating of 4 or higher. It is rare for me to dislike a meal. However, today was an exception. The gobhi, boiled in a red spicy sauce and accompanied by some raw onion, was intolerable. After taking a small bite, we immediately left the establishment without even attempting the biriyani.
It is regrettable to witness such a fantastic location deteriorate into a nightmare. Simon, who appeared to be knowledgeable, should have been able to tell if they were not ready. I am uncertain if this was an isolated event or if the establishment has deteriorated...
Read moreDon’t use DoorDash when you order here. I haven’t even tried the food yet because even though according to door dash it should have been ready at least 45 mins ago. I went in to check on my order about 15-20 mins ago and the man didn’t even look at me and said, “it’s not ready” so I went back to my car to wait, just went back in to check on it and a kind female server finally actually helped me and told me it would be about a 15 mins wait. I’m exhausted and just wanted some comfort food after a rough day. Now I’m just sitting here in my car crying with my baby who is also crying. Hopefully the food is good.
Update: it’s been 20 mins… I’m still waiting. it’s been over an hour since I put in my order (naan, curry and a lassi) they are supposed to close in 10 mins, at this point I don’t even know why I’m still here. I have to give it a 1 star even if it’s the best curry of my life. I should have just eaten Wendy’s...
Read moreWe were pleasently surprised by the ambiance, food and service. We went on weekday around 11.30 and the staff waa extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the interior...it was bright and spacious and welcoming. Menu was great...they had all famous indian delicacies. We ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Egg Biryani, Goat Karahi, Naans ans Chicken Lollipop. The appetizer (Chicken Lollipop) was just the perfect combination of flavours. We really appreciated the server coming to us and confirming if the spice level was fine for us. Food quantity was great. Mutton Karahi was flavourful. The mutton could have been a lil more well done but it was still good. The Biryanis were too good. I really enjoyed the egg biryani. The spices were balanced. They need to improve their Naans though. They were too thin and got crispy. Raita was great too. Overall a great experience. We will definetely go again and recommend highly...
