This place is awesome, stumbled upon it. I'm trying to figure out where to go for lunch, and I drove by it. Sushi sounded good. So I thought I'd stop in and give it a try and was greeted very promptly. Um, and they seated me in a timely manner, not a weight. Am I looking over the menu? Saw that there were. There are probably 100 rolls to choose from. Not only can you get sushi, but you can get nagiri. Get Bento, boxes, and other Japanese style food. Me, of course, ordered 3 rolls up there. The sushi portion size is quite good. The menu consist of appetizers, and they have lunch. Special 2 rolls for 9 bucks. Or you can get single rolls from five dollars, all the way up to 9 dollars. The owner, I'm not sure of his name but is very knowledgeable. And will help you choose the roles. Or if you have questions regarding the sushi, he can tell you of its consistency, what it's made of, etc. Since the first of the month, I have gone to this establishment nine times and have enjoyed every time i've gone accept one. The only issue with the last time I went in there is I asked for some Wasabi. And the lady didn't bring me any until I was almost done with my lunch. But it's not a bad thing. My goal is to try to taste all of the rolls The playboy, the Godzilla, the Caterpillar, the dynamite. The dynasty, the pick 4. The vegas have been sensational. The staff here are very polite and we'll give you a little bow. As is custom, with their culture. If you would like a slow place to sit and enjoy some excellent food. This is definitely the place to come. I give my regards to the owner of this place who recognized me after coming in. Just the second time. And since then On after. I've brought my wife and kids to this place because I talked it up. And the wife loves sushi as well, so I told her she had to try it. So we did dinner on a Saturday or Sunday? I can't remember it was about a week ago. Food came out quick. It was good. and we all got to sample. Exquisite sushi pricing is very good. atmosphere is amazing. Staff is very attentive overall. Very good experience, and I hope they do well...
Read moreI recently dined at Sushi Bomb in Draper, Utah, and found the experience to be somewhat mixed. The gyoza appetizer was served quickly, which was nice, but the flavor was unfortunately quite bland. My partner's Playboy Sushi roll was brought out with my appetizer, even though it was meant to be his entree, which threw off the timing of our meal.
I ordered the hibachi steak, but it wasn't really what I expected from a hibachi dish. It was just plain rice, steak, and veggies, and like the gyoza, the flavors were lacking. Overall, the dishes we tried were underwhelming in taste.
The atmosphere of the restaurant felt cold, which didn't help the overall dining experience. Our server provided quick service, but wasn't particularly friendly, and to top it off, the check was dropped off before we had even finished our meals.
Overall, Sushi Bomb delivered quick service but fell short in terms of flavor...
Read moreSushi is decent. This was my second time ordering from there. The first time we ordered there, I purchased six rolls and asked for ample amount of eel sauce and spicy mayo for the six rolls, and we got one puny tray of each. I figured there was maybe some language barrier so I called and made it very clear on my second order today when I bought seven rolls of sushi that we need a dish of mayo and eel sauce for each roll so there should have been six mayo cups and 6 cups of eel sauce. Instructions were not followed again, so now I brought seven rolls of sushi back to my family with one puny cup of eel sauce and one puny cup of spicy mayo. I have never been to a sushi restaurant that is this incompetent with communication and providing spicy mayo and eel sauce. If you like spicy mayo and eel sauce extra with your sushi, I would strongly advise to...
