Port of Subs — Restaurant in Draper

We ordered from Port Of Subs through an app called ezCater for a Halloween party we were having. I looked around for easy meal ideas for our party for a few days and after looking at some of the typical ones people use, I found that many places were crazy expensive AND, I would have to go pick it up myself. I found their options for catering really appealing, and the price was reasonable. I also love that they offer a veggie tray and most places don't. The other up side is that I didn't have to find a way to keep food warm like we would have had to for a taco bar or burgers etc. We ordered the Spectacular Sub Assortment which we got to pick 4 styles (Turkey & Provolone, Ham & American, Roast Beef and Provolone, and BLT) and had the bread type an assortment (white or wheat). We then had them put lettuce and tomato but had Mayo on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. We also ordered some chips, the Definitely Dessert Platter, and as I mentioned, the Vegetable Garden Splendor. You guys! not only were the sandwiches a hit, that veggie tray was AMAZING!!!! The dessert platter had brownies and cookies and they were sooo good, and ALL the sandwiches were gone at the end of the night. They had plenty of toppings on them and the bread was delicious. Seriously the best sub place in all of Utah and there is no competition. I wish this location would stop limiting their hours though, they are losing business left and right because they close so early lately. I grew up in elko Nevada and I am used to our local port of subs that’s been around for at least 20 years being open from 5am-9pm everyday. This location used to be open until 9pm and open in the mornings even earlier but now they close at 7pm on weekdays and close at 5pm on Saturday. Who is going to think of getting dinner before 5 pm on a Saturday? Plus they were even open on Sundays before. It’s so hard to catch them when they are open now , I always seem to remember they are closed on Sunday at around 6pm Saturday night or after 6 pm on a weekday when they are closed on DoorDash and I’m straight out of luck 😓. I really hope this location doesn’t close simply because they have limited their hours so much that it makes it impossible for the average 9-5 person to be able to stop and get a sandwich or even order one on DoorDash in time...

As a gal who formally worked for Blimpie and a big fan of Jersey Mike's I was pretty disappointed in Port of Subs. Nothing was bad and the food was overall fine and the service was fine but the bread was sad and squished. It looks as though it wasn't proofed long enough and then not baked long enough. It was quite flat and all our sandwiches just fell apart and didn't hold together because the bread was so soft. The cheddar jalapeño bread looked like it had a slice of kraft singles laid on top whereas other competitors have shredded cheese baked on top. I likely wont drive down to Draper to...
