Wife saw barely saw the sign off the 210 freeway. Decided let's go take a look. We were greeted by Raquel whom gave us advice on where to look for the style reclining sofas and storage we were interested in then gave us space to explore. Checked with us if we had any questions. The knowledge and expertise of the products and explanations to us letting us know what options we had was wonderful. We found a couch and table we liked. As we were waiting for a quote we fell in love with a couple of recliners instead. We got a quote on those as well. This is where Raquel really impressed me. I'm one that is good at noticing little things other might not that can make a big difference in the way something is. I've sat in plenty of recliners before but never really thought in details about them. She was great in knowing the height difference between my wife and I. With that she had us sit in the recliner again. I thought it was great already. She noticed the small gap between the chair and my legs while sitting. She went and found a tall base for the recliner, put it in place and had me sit again. OMG that made it even better. We were sold but wanted to finish our rounds of checking other stores. There was no pressure at all which made the whole experience great We ultimately returned before they closed to finalize the purchase of the recliners, table and a lamp. Definitely spent more than expected on this adventure but when you come across quality products and top tier service it is worth it. We cannot wait for...

After purchasing the most expensive, automatic & adjustable couch they have, the couch arrived. My elderly Mom & I spent the evening on our new couch. After a couple hours, neither one of us could adjust it to a comfortable position. After having the couch not even 24 hrs, we were both in such pain from sitting on this couch (with neck pain & lower back pain) that we had to get a chiropractor to adjust us. I went back to the store to tell them the situation. The couch was almost $3,000. At first they wouldn't let me return it but only exchange it. There wasn't any other couch that would work. This was the only couch firm enough, that my elderly mother could get out of. They finally conceded, only if I paid the 30% Restocking Fee of over $830 plus another $120 for them to pick it up!!! I almost fell over in unbelievable shock as tears filled my eyes!! It's not like I didn't like the color or it didn't fit in my living room. This couch is not something that any human can sit in longer than an hour! But I had to get this out of my house. I had no other option but to PAY almost $1,000 just to have an unusable couch returned. I would be so embarrassed to work at Lazboy. Of course nobody there warns you that this could happen to you & probably happens every day. They only tell you after your problem, "well that's our policy... It's in your contract". Pathetic. I will tell everyone to avoid Lazboy...

Have purchased all my La-z-boy furniture at this particular Duarte CA store. Celia has sold me each piece, helped me with obtaining discounts, service and credit with zero interest. She's very helpful and knows her stuff. She's a great salesperson and knows the La-z-boy brand inside and out. Of course I absolutely LOVE each of my pieces, I purchased them at different times throughout the years. My rocking chair recliner was purchased over 13 years ago and works and looks like brand new, has endured the test of time. My beautiful, all around leather, Duo sofa was purchased almost five years ago and with my extended care plan, I've had at least one issue resolved with a tech coming to my home and repairing a minor issue immediately and the second issue I'm having at this time has to do with damage from my end and am currently working on getting a technician to my home for repairs, I'M HOPING. So we'll see how that goes - I'll update this post with how it went, once I've received a response from La-z-boy Overall, this is a lovely store, the showroom floor is beautifully arranged, large bright lighting, they're not following you around as you shop making it uncomfortable and the salesperson I dealt with throughout the years is very helpful and a pleasure...
