I had a wonderful experience at It’s a Hair Thang Salon. I ran into someone at an event and she gave me Renee’s contact information. I was visiting from out of state and Renee was able to get me in before I left to go back home. From my initial contact with her until the time I left out of the door, she was very professional, kind, and informative. During my appointment, she educated me SO MUCH about my hair. She is very personable. It felt like I had known her for years! It is so hard to find someone educated and experienced in taking care of natural/curly hair. Over the years, between silk presses and protective styles I’ve never really learned how to take care of my natural curls. Renee is such an amazing woman, and she works magic with her hands. I have been searching years for a Curl Specialist who had the ability to cut my hair into to a shape were I will fall in love with my curls, and I must say Renee exceeded my expectations and I am so happy.

Renee is absolutely amazing. She is not only a master cutter but a teacher. She is a curl expert with a focus on hair health. She listened to what I wanted.
