What an amazing Friday these two BFFs had at @cttacos in Dunwoody, GA, in the Perimeter Mall area. First, let's start with what you all want, you know, is th food good? The answer is easy that it is great. But here are the details:

Drinks- Blueberry Margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Guava Margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Frood- Salsa Quattro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So you automatically get a four salsa and chips to your table. And all of the salsas are so freaking good!! We had to make ourselves stop eating it. We were also impressed that their chips are made in house and still warm when they got to our table!

Red Snapper Ceviche ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was really good and you could tell it was really fresh.

Jalisco Burrito Barbacoa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The meat in this burrito was so tender, and tasty. Then the avocado and cheese sauce really brought it home.

Jalisco Burrito Carnitas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dessert- Mango Cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very well constructed, beautiful dessert. We just wanted it to be more mango forward. Like super mango!

Snickers cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ O-M-G this was outrageously good and I dont even eat the candy. Everything from the crust, to caramel, to crumble was soooo amazing!!

So not only was the food great here, the customer service was top teir, and check the videos the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Like picturesque beautiful!!

🥞 Brunch Buffet Experience We went for the brunch buffet and overall, the food was really good! The concept is fantastic, but the execution could use a little fine-tuning. The buffet is arranged in a circular layout near the hostess stand, which unfortunately blocks a major walkway—making it tricky for both staff and guests to move around comfortably.

🍽️ Food Highlights & Challenges The dishes go fast, so if there’s something you’re eyeing, you’ll need to be quick! Refills happen, but there’s a bit of a wait. There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the cakes 🍰 and fruit 🍉, though. The tamales 🫔 were especially delicious, and they varied in toppings/sides for the dishes—but again, they disappeared quickly.

☕ Drinks & Details The black coffee was sweet with a hint of cinnamon, which was a nice surprise. The arroz con leche had a slightly burnt aftertaste, and unfortunately, conchas weren’t restocked after a certain time, so we missed out on trying those. Drinks are at the bar, and while they were nearly empty when we arrived, they were refilled fairly quickly. The only hiccup was waiting quite a while for cups with ice—had to flag down a bartender for those.

🚶 Space & Service Service was excellent throughout—friendly and attentive! That said, the layout could use more breathing room. The buffet setup is so tight that someone accidentally dropped food on my arm while trying to squeeze by (he apologized!). It’s a good example of how cramped the space can get. Plates also ran out at times, adding to the scramble.

✨ Final Thoughts Great food, great service, and a fun idea—but a little more space and better restocking would make the experience...

I’ve stopped by the new CT Cantina in Dunwoody the past two Tuesdays, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for Taco Tuesday. This place hits all the right notes of flavor, vibe, and service.

I ordered two chicken tacos and two barbacoa tacos, and both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, with a subtle smoky flavor that paired perfectly with the fresh toppings. The barbacoa, though? That was next level, tender, rich, and full of deep, savory flavor that just melts in your mouth. Each taco came wrapped in warm corn tortillas that held everything together without getting soggy. You can taste the authenticity in every bite.

Although I haven’t tried the drinks yet, my server David made sure I knew what I was missing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had great energy about him. He was super attentive and detailed in explaining how all their cocktails are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. I appreciated that extra touch of hospitality, and I’ll definitely be back to try one of his recommendations.

The decor is beautiful and thoughtfully done colorful, modern, and inviting. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a fun night out with friends as it does for a casual date night.
