This review is for their food court.
TLDR: not recommended because the price/portion ratio is poor (given this is your 1st week of grand opening and not much traffic).
The price:
This is based on the 1st week of their grand opening. $10.99 for three entrees with white rice and $9.99 for two, but if you order fried rice which is $1 extra, you only get two entrees to choose from, even you are willing to pay extra to get a third, they wonât allow. You can also get entrees separately by weight.
The portion:
Compared with the Chinese food courts (wonât name them since this post is not an ad) in Edison area, the portion is too small. Especially given this is your trial run period. No promotion during your trial is acceptable, but the food portion is embarrassing.
The taste:
Mediocre at best. Common issue at these food courts.
Will NOT return to get any dishes at the food court inside this supermarket until there is a significant improvement on the portion and to provide a few more choices when ordering meal box without limiting how many...
Read moreThey have no scale for customer use in the produce section. Watch what produce your cashier rings up. They mess up a lot, a LOT. I'm a 3 x a week shopper, and they mess everything up. anybody raving about this place, is not a regular produce shopper. Just watch your receipt, that's all.
fruit prices are awful. one week blueberries are $2, next week they are $5. and $8 for strawberries. these are summer prices.
they have unfrigerated meat and cheese and buttered buns sitting in the bakery all day. then they put the leftover to go items from the front into the bakery section. unfrigerated meat and seafood and rice containers sitting in open air. No idea how the county is not all over this place. The milk is usually expired, and they never restock the yogurts, even though they are a good price. They also leave a lot of rotten produce on their shelves, which means they are not even checking. Produce does not go rotten...
Read moreI visited the Asian food market in East Brunswick for the first time today, and Iâm usually a regular at the Piscataway store for fresh seafood. This location is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with everything neatly organizedâit looks like a newly opened store. They offer a wide variety of seafood along with some meat options.
One of my favorite sections, besides the seafood, is their bakery. The butter cream bun and milk bun are standout itemsâdefinitely a must-try! The staff at the seafood counter are very helpful and attentive, making sure to understand customer preferences like the number of cuts or size.
If you're looking for fresh seafood, delicious bakery treats, or even a diverse selection of noodles, I highly recommend checking...
