I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and concern about a recent purchase I made from Aland US store.
On October 18, my wife and I purchased a "Pinkfong Baby Shark Animals Songs Sound Book." Upon trying the product at home, we immediately noticed that the sound volume was excessively loud, raising genuine concerns about its safety for our baby's hearing. Given the potential risk, we deemed it inappropriate for our child and opted to return it to the store.
When we approached the store for a refund, we were refused on the grounds that we had opened the package. I would like to highlight that the nature of the product necessitated opening it to test its sound quality, as there was no other way to ascertain its volume without doing so. The product is in pristine, undamaged condition, and the refusal to refund or exchange it based on package opening is unreasonable. The manager was so rude and kind of being racially talked to us! All of these just happened in front of my baby.
Furthermore, I believe that this policy runs counter to the basic consumer rights in the United States. It is unjust to penalize consumers for testing a product that requires such testing to ensure its safety and appropriateness for its intended audience. Not allowing a refund or exchange in such circumstances, especially when the product poses potential harm, is not in line with fair consumer practices.
I am hopeful that this complaint will shed light on this issue and help in rectifying such policies for the benefit of...
Read moreIf you're looking for some Korean skincare or makeup items, Aland is the shop for you! They don't just have clothing.
Upon entering, you can see everything laid out before you. You can choose whether to shop for clothes or skincare/beauty items.
One of the first few things I noticed, and really liked, was the fact the retail workers aren't following you around or hounding you like some other stores do.
The general vibe is very aesthetic and minimal.
PRICING Prices are what you'd expect. They're not cheap, but they're not top dollar either.
PARKING & Location Aland is in Court C Level 2
Therefore, parking in Parking Deck C. When you come into parking deck C, initially, you'll be on ground level. Then if you go up 1 level, it's Level 1. Aland is on Level 2 so you can park on Level 2 as well. But anything close to the entrance of Parking Deck C is what you want.
OVERALL Great selection of items. Definitely worth their price! I haven't really seen many sales reps around besides the cashier girl, so I can't say 100% anything on...
Read moreAland is a Korean fashion store focusing on importing brands straight from Korea, highlighting the latest fashion trends internationally.
I see a lot of reviews talking about being followed. I was followed once during a visit to the store, but I realized that the person was just trying to answer any questions about clothes, as whenever I took the clothes off the rack they would tell me about it.
The clothes selection is pretty good, their organization could be a bit better as its typically organized by brand, so the styles range from each brand. The clothes are also on a bit more of the expensive side, whether its due to importing fees or not, it may be better to look online first to buy it online instead.
Overall its a good place to shop for new trends and hard to find fashion pieces, but can break...
