Cave Collectible Gaming — Local services in East Wenatchee

I am brand new to Warhammer tabletop, like brand brand new, I only heard of it oct. Before the COVID arrived and shut things down, a few years later I finally found a store close enough to me and at a convenience of being in the city, I managed to visit the cave, I half expected to buy 1 cheap thing for basic instructions and nothing else, knowing how games workshop like to price their tabletop, the owner not only helped me find what I was looking for but took the time he had free to show me what I wasn't able to see before, as there's not even a gw or 3rd party store closer than his store, I spent a hour or 2 just learning so much from him, and got more than what I expected to buy from his store, and at a great deal

If you ever need a store for some products at prices I feel is more fair than what you find online, and have a good travel time, the cave right here is a great place

This is undoubtably the worst hobby shop in the Wenatchee area. There is no set schedule, only “if the shop owner feels like it” that day. The store is cluttered and dirty, with walls so thin all you hear over the constant politics on TV is the Karaoke blasting non stop. The selection he does have is very small and over priced, at which he calculates what you owe in his head without a calculator. I’m sure that I’ve been over charged more than once at this store. I have seen him ignore customers to play on his computer or just leave you halfway through asking questions about products to help someone with magic cards for his collection. There are no prices on his products which requires him to constantly look up how much things cost, even suggesting to go buy the product on amazon. This store is very poorly managed and it’s a shame because it’s the only one like it here in Wenatchee. Visited the store today as I was traveling through Wenatchee. Immediately upon entering I got to see a genuine chaos titan, as well as several forge world knights. All fantastically painted. Later I saw a display case with several forgeworld primarchs painted on very nicely. I spoke with the employee and he shared a great 5th edition Warhammer story with me. I was only passing through I wish I had asked more questions especially about who painted the models on display. I did ask if this was the place to play Warhammer in town and the employee let me know since COVID not a lot of people play in the store any more that bummed me out.
