Hobby Lobby — Local services in East Wenatchee

I cannot believe the outright discrimination of the workers in this store. I come in to buy some gel pens and coloring books for my daughter and I have to assume this woman started following me as soon as I walked in the store because I found some gel pens then looked around for coloring books. When I asked her where I could find the adult coloring books she asked to look in my basket for the pens I picked up 10 minutes earlier. I'm not sure why she thought I had to be followed and questioned about an item she had to have watched me pick up. What I do know is she thought I was some type of criminal that had to be followed and interrogated just because she didn't like the way I look. Little did she know I probably make more money in a week than she does in a month. Also she had no room to judge anyone on their appearance. She was wearing inexpensive Walmart or some other department store clothes and some gaudy eyeglasses. Her face was as plain as you can get and would be considered ugly if she hadn't painted it with cosmetics. She definitely was not fit and must have given up after her husband left her for a woman that doesn't think she's better than everyone. Also I want to make clear the fact that I would never have pointed out her homely appearance or even her fantasy of being better than me. Everyone knows I'm a devout man of God that goes out of his way to help anyone I can. Despite my mistreatment by her I will still pray for her salvation and ask God to forgive her. She obviously has never read the good book or learned any of the lessons on humility, tolerance and sinful pride contained within. Her derogatory behavior has been so infuriating I myself will need to pray for some humility and forgiveness for not turning the other cheek as the bible instructs us to do when godless immoral sinners try to attack us. This sort of intolerance needs to be eradicated where ever we find it. Lastly any store that doesn't remove unlearned and spiteful goons such as this woman from their staff should...

A horrible place to shop. I went in to get a snack because my blood sugar was low. Picked up a bag of gummy worms, they were right up front are a register, and thought I'd look around in the store since I'd never really shopped in a Hobby Lobby store before so I didn't know what they really had to offer. While looking around I found a usb wall outlet that I thought about buying. I looked around some more before realizing is left my credit card at home. I then put the outlet back and went to pay for my gummy worms. When I got to the register I was stopped by one of the female workers that accused me of shoplifting. She said she had seen me steal some phone cords of which I had no idea what she could be referring to. I got my gummy worms and left the store as the worker told me not to come back on the grounds or else I would be trespassing. She also said they were calling the police on me. The police came and got pretty rough with me even though I cooperated 100%. They searched my person and my bag I was carrying and didn't find any phone cords. They then took off the handcuffs they had put on me before telling me I was free to go. After all that went down neither the worker from Hobby Lobby, nor the officers, even offered up an apology to me for the misunderstanding. I can honestly say I personally, nor would I ever recommend it to another, will EVER shop at another...

Rude maintenance guy I’m assuming. I am from out of town we came to hobby lobby to check out the Christmas decor I thought they closed at 9 on Saturday, it was 7:48 and I went straight to the restroom found out it was blocked off I saw a worker and asked if the restroom was down or just getting cleaned and she said it’s being cleaned and I said oh okay cool and I asked what time do yall close since it was being cleaned and she said at 8, so I quickly skimmed the grinch isle we were headed home after so I went to the restroom right before we headed out and this time there were two employees standing there a girl and a guy and I was like oh is it closed? I need to use the restroom real fast and the man said no very rudely , and the girl said she just needs to use the restroom? and he was like no we close in 2 minutes. I have a kidney stones and really couldn’t hold it I mentioned I have kidney problems and he rudely looked at his watch and said we close in 2 minutes. The girl was nice and let me through she apologized and again he told me we close in 2 minutes. Mind you there were a ton of customers still in line and customers looking at products. I just thought it was rude it’s not like I was going to use the bathroom for 20 minutes or something I knew the store closed soon . If the store is open the bathroom should be open .
