Store has great options for what you want, the staff were sweet, however, after being proposed to almost 2 months ago, we have not received the ring back from the jeweler. We brought it in the day after the proposal to get it resized and were told that since it may have to be completely remade it could take 4-5 weeks to return. That was on January 19th.
There has been no attempts made to give us an update on the delay, and each time my fiancé has reached out, they didn't pick up the phone or he was made to feel like a burden for asking about it in the first place.
It may be obnoxious to complain over this, but we all know how special becoming engaged is. It was an amazing surprise, that when I share with people, becomes awkward as they look down and see I have no ring after being engaged for nearly a couple months. I'm okay waiting and explaining why there is no ring, but i'm not very happy about being neglected as a customer.
EDIT (a few days later):
The business absolutely did a good job addressing our concern.. UPON reading the review. We were called yesterday and updated that the ring would arrive today, which it did (I love it btw, she is STUNNING and worth the wait). We really appreciated the contact. They also offered us a free resize in the future, which is super! The business does a great job of making up for their mistakes, but it also kinda felt like they just wanted the review changed and it was a bit awkward. We understand they are a family business, and don't let my one experience define their service as a whole, just something to...
Read moreI took a gold chain to be repaired, but the repair was done very poorly. Part of the issue was an error on my part- when I dropped off the broken chain initially, I did not leave the charm that goes on it. When I got the chain back, the charm wouldn’t fit over the clasp- totally my fault. But aside from that mistake, they shortened the overall length of the chain doing the repair (which should have been an easy fix) and reattached the clasp in the wrong place. And they left the broken portion of the chain hanging off one of the adjustment loops. So I was left with a chain shorter than before and has one less adjustment length.
The woman I communicated with in the store was very rude about the issue and was not pleasant to do business with at all. She even told me my chain wasn’t real gold because it had a “sterling silver” stamp on it, which she ended up saying she was incorrect about after another employee corrected her. Even though they offered to send the chain off again to be repaired free of charge, I opted to take it to another jeweler that fixed it in house and sent it home with me the same day (for 1/3 of the cost). I won’t be going to Hudson again for repairs, unfortunately….

Read moreThe absolute best experience! This is the only place I’ll ever go to buy jewelry again. My center stone fell out of my ring at the park with my kids and I was devastated. Luckily I had insurance on it (jewelers mutual- the best!) and took it to Hudson’s. From the very beginning they were reassuring and explained the process to me. After taking care of all the paperwork, I waited while they found a stone that matched. Well to my surprise when I picked it up, due to not being able to find an exact match, they had a bigger center stone set at no additional charge, increasing my ring value by $2,000! I was shocked and so excited to say the least! They went above and beyond to make sure my ring looked exquisite. It looks better than it did brand new. She even explained details about the diamond that I didn’t even know before. Amazing! Go here and you won’t be disappointed!!...
