Crazy Bowls & Wraps — Restaurant in Edwardsville

So typically I really love it here but the past 10 times I have went, my wraps have like 2 pieces of chicken in them, even if I pay extra for extra chicken. Their bowls of queso have like a tea spoon of queso in it which feels like a waste of money & most recent visit, I sat there waiting for half an hour for two things that weren’t even entrees, just a side of beans and some crispy chicken bites. I would understand if it was packed or if they had to make more chicken but it was about 2pm, and there were 2 other customers in the store. When I got my food I got about 5 chicken bites that were cold & they forgot my sauce. I’m not usually this nit-picky but this place is not cheap and it is very frustrating man. This used to be my favorite place to eat but I have stopped frequenting it because it suddenly feels like i’m getting ripped off lol.

The people working there are typically pretty nice! There is a woman who might be a store manager with an undercut and she’s very kind and respectful! Also, on days the male manager is working, it is always very great service and good food. I really like the manager, he’s extremely kind so I feel bad writing this review but there has just been too many instances of my food being subpar or my orders getting...

2025 update: as you can see by my below review, I have been frequenting CBW for many years. Have always loved it here, it's my go-to spot for healthy meals when I'm on the go. However, I don't know what's been going on the last few months, but the quality of the food has dropped drastically. I have gotten Thai lettuce wraps five different times in a row, always hoping that maybe they would go back to the way I like them, but every single time they've been completely different. Totally inconsistent, and just very subpar. Today, the chicken was super dry, there was barely any sauce, the lettuce wraps were not put in the bowl in a way that I could even kind of pick them up even if I wanted to, they added extremely chunky pieces of cabbage and carrot, and it was just overall flavorless and completely unappealing. It's honestly extremely disappointing because I really love it here and don't want to quit coming, but food has gotten so expensive that it's not worth spending $13 if I never know the quality of food I'm going to get.

My husband and I ordered delivery a few weeks back and while his meal was fine (Thai wrap), mine was a totally different story.

I had the poke bowl w/ spiralized zucchini and it was disappointing to the point of being inedible. First, both the sriracha sauce and chips were missing (I actually doubled up on the chips so there should have been the ones that came with the dish as well as a separate side order. I got zilch). As sriracha is the only flavoring agent in the poke bowl, I ended up with a flavorless meal comprised of raw fish, bone dry slaw, a soggy (and disturbingly warm) heap of stewed zucchini, all on a bed of soaking wet lettuce.

The worst part is there was so much water at the bottom of the bowl that I was literally able to fill an entire condiment cup with brown fishy lettuce water (see pic).

Oh, and there was some other stuff missing from our order but at least that did not kill my appetite. Suffice it to say, I wasn't hungry after catching a whiff of what was in that...
