I dropped of my Taylormade SLDR to be shipped out for warranty repairs. I dropped it off Friday and it was supposed to be returned to the store the following Friday. I called on the following Friday to verify completion before I drove to pick it up. I was told by Andrew that he would call Taylormade because the club had not shown up yet. He said that it wasn't going too returned until Monday, no problem. I called back Monday to verify my club had been returned to the store before making the trip, Andrew answered again with disappointing news that the club had not been received but that he would call me back letting me know what was going on. He called back after about thirty minutes saying that it had been shipped and that it would be back at the store on Tuesday. I understand delays happen so I called back the next day to find that the club had still not arrived. Andrew called Taylormade to find that the club had been shipped to Maryland.........Iāve never lived in Maryland or known anyone to live in Maryland........my frustration comes from three separate calls to verify shipment of the club and never once we verified where it was going??? Andrew said he would follow up with me after he figured out what was going on, I never received a call back... After getting off work I went down to dicks sporting goods to see if I could figure out some sort of resolution. This is where I have a problem, an over nourished manager named Mike came out to speak with me. I've never met anyone in retail business that has done a worse job then this man here. He took zero accountability for the lack of follow up both with his customer and the distributer. He also said on three different occasions that I was wrong, MIKE IF YOU READ THIS, THE CUSTOMER IS NEVER WRONG. After all is said and done, Taylormade took accountability and called me to apologize as well as they gave me a brand new driver (I didnāt ask for it and I didnāt need it but very nice none the less) There are only two people you should ever work with when you go in there, chuck and Thomas both did a great job. Thomas did 10x more than ever was expected he handled the entire situation like a true professional. Maybe Mike should take some notes.... Thanks Thomas I hope you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was referred by someone to go to this store to look at kayaks about a week ago. It turned out, they do not carry any inside the store!! Anyway, since I was there, I bought 2 items, and the cashier person was really nice. I had to go back to yesterday, and exchange one of the items because it did not fit. I got the same item in a different size, took it to check out, and had a bad experience. The person said my item was not on my receipt. I only bought 2 items, and they were on my receipt., but he insisted it was not! Really, well I looked carefully at the receipt, and apparently I realized that the cashier from last week scanned the tag of one item twice, even though they were different sizes and color?! I caught this error, BUT the person who was so sure that I had the wrong receipt, did not catch this?! Now, mind you, I have only visited this store once, since I am traveling in this area, so I would only have ONE receipt from this store. Visiting this store twice was a complete waste of my time, since again, the only reason I had originally visited this store was to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in today looking for hiking shoes. This was my 3rd store and the staff were in some kind of group meeting. I was sent a salesperson who asked me what my size was. Didn't ask to measure my foot to make sure. He was lack luster at best as he said he found a pair and brought them out. I looked around and asked if there was anywhere to sit and he said, oh yes, come around here. I sat down. He promptly disappeared and the shoes were far too small. He never returned but another salesperson did and I asked if they had in a different size. He looked at his phone and said no, they didn't have them in a larger size. end of story. What happened to taking a genuine interest in a person's search? Don't they have other stores? Could they not have called them to see if they had them in my size? Could they not have asked me if they could measure my foot, and bring me some boots in my size to choose from? Nope.. Absolute waste of time and energy. And the hiking boots section was a mess anyhow...more staff than customers...won't...
