Be aware of the mobile credit card device. I was charged full price, without 2nd pair 50% off, as advertised. I asked 5 times to make sure I got 50% off. I was assured by employee that I did. The mobile device didn’t show on the screen what was the item charges. I was just given a final receipt after purchase. I felt very unease and checked the receipt. It showed I paid every pair full price. I went back to ask for refund. Another lady said the mobile charger didn’t reflect 50% off. I saw other customers paid through the desk credit card machine. I felt I was chosen to be charged by the mobile device. While I was paying, another customer cut my line and ask something about her receipt. Could it be 50% off problem? Skechers and manager need to check store operation. Why charge certain customers using the mobile device, while others not? Disappointing Experience at Skechers Outlet - Elizabeth, NJ

I had a very mixed experience at this store. The staff member who helped me choose a pair of sneakers was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, my experience at checkout was completely different.

The cashier was dismissive and refused to scan my 20% welcome coupon that I had received via email. Instead of simply scanning the in-store barcode, she asked for unnecessary information and was uncooperative throughout the interaction. Language seemed to be a barrier, but there was also a clear lack of effort or willingness to assist.

After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I was shocked when she refused to complete my purchase. To make matters worse, the store manager stepped in and supported the cashier without even hearing my side.

They offered honest opinions and made sure I was completely satisfied before making a purchase.

The store was clean, well organized, and had a great variety of shoes from casual to formal, and everything in between.
