I shop at this location quite a lot, but today I had a very bad experience with customer service. After waiting in the line to check out for a very long time, I wanted to return/ exchange a dress. The cashier ( cashier #25) told me, that they donât do returns here and I have to go to the opposite side of the store. I have asked her, if I have to wait in line again and she just said: I guessâŚ. I told her, that in this case, they should have signs saying that this is just express line with no returns. She told me, that there are announcements every so often, saying that returns are at specific cashiers. It is impossible to hear the announcements in this store full of people, on Saturday⌠Anyway, I have asked for a manager, which she first refused, but finally called someone. This lady, who came told me that she canât do the return at this cashier, because there is no cash in the register. I told her, that I paid with a credit card and all I want is to put the amount back to my card or do exchange as I was buying more items ( dresses with the same price) . When I asked her, if she is the store manager, first she said yes, and when I asked her for her name, she told me, that she canât give me her name. Then she told me, that she is the supervisor, refusing to call the manager. She was also very hesitant to give me the corporate phone number.    Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I am absolutely disgusted by the staff. This place has changed so much and for the worst. My family and I used to shop here all the time. Today I came for the first time in a year with my family who are tourists. My uncle was accused of shop lifting because he had a luggage bag with him. He was approached by two woman that I assume were managers with a security guard at 11:30 a.m. My uncle was just looking at the clothes he had grabbed, and when they came up to him, they accused him of ripping tags off. They forced him to open his luggage and took two shorts that he had purchased on a previous day. He had it on him because he made some returns so they were grabbed by accident from home. When we asked for proof, they refused to give any. They showed us a man who wasnât even wearing the same colors. This is outrageous! One of the ladies briefly apologized and then didnât even give his shorts back. They took the clothes he purchased from the previous day. This is so racist Burlington! Next time you accuse someone look at your cameras. No one apologized except one of them. I wonât be shopping here anymore! I should have taken this to corporate, we are very honorable people, my uncle is a doctor, this was very embarrassing. Burlington you can not accuse people like that.    Read moreThe store is supposed to open at 9:30 yet nobody came to unlock the doors till about 7 mins after that because some meeting (you could hear it from outside) ran extra long.
I went to return some items and there were 3 cashiers just standing there without acknowledging me until another lady who appears to be a superior had to come TELL them to process my return.
I did some more shopping and when I made it to the line the cashiers were moving with no sense of urgency. I got on the line as the next person in line and 10 mins later I was still there. Meanwhile one of the cashiers was standing there reading the labels on items that the gentleman in front of me was purchasing.
If youâre interested in shoes from their 14+ section be prepared to have to check every shoe as there is no sense of order in there.
The only bright sides are that they have a massive selection of items even though it isnât well organized and the little Hispanic lady at the changing room was VERY pleasant.
In the end I ran out of patience and I left the items I came to purchase. Iâll take my business elsewhere. This store has some serious work to do in terms of improving the customer experience. Bargain prices shouldnât mean cheap customer service. The staff donât even greet you when you pass them in store. Only shop here if youâre not in a hurry and you donât care about receiving quality...
