I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the United Club lounge in Terminal A at Newark Airport, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, setting the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The lounge itself boasts a modern and spacious design, with plenty of seating options to suit any traveler's preference. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to catch up on work or a cozy spot to relax before your flight, you'll find it here. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. One of the highlights of my visit was the impressive array of amenities available. From complimentary Wi-Fi and charging stations to a well-stocked bar and delicious snacks, the United Club goes above and beyond to cater to its guests' needs. I particularly enjoyed the selection of premium beverages and the variety of fresh food options, which included both healthy choices and indulgent treats.Another standout feature of the lounge is the attentive service provided by the staff. Whether I needed assistance with my travel plans or simply had a question about the amenities, the staff members were always courteous and eager to help. Their professionalism and hospitality truly enhanced my overall experience.Overall, my time at the United Club in Newark Airport's Terminal A was nothing short of exceptional. From the luxurious atmosphere to the top-notch amenities and attentive service, it's clear that United Airlines has set a new standard for airport lounges. Whether you're a frequent flyer or just looking to treat yourself before your next flight, I highly recommend stopping by the United Club for a truly...
Read moreTo the 5pm to 6pm staff at the front desk of the United Club Lounge on July 27/24, your inability to be helpful was next level. When a client has a problem, please do not sit in your chair and reiterated it is $59.99 to get into the lounge. Instead, you should be listening to your clients and try to understand what the issue is.
We had spent a lovely international flight with an amazing United crew from Edinburgh and I mistakenly thought this might be a new airline to use. BUT NO! Your lounge agents made it perfectly clear that United is not customer service focused.
Your agents left me with my family while the staff spouted the same lines over and over. The young adults in my family, who observed this behaviour also feel that they will not use United services again. These staff should be brought back to have customer service training. Their inability to listen has lost you customers.
Ana, the Air Canada agent, stepped up and corrected the inept United Lounge staff. If you do go to the lounge and I would discourage you from going to the lounge, but, if you do, speak to Ana. Ana was the only staff that knew what was going on.
This whole ordeal took around 15 minutes while my children were stuck standing there hungry, tired and annoyed. Totally unacceptable treatment.
Needless to say, the food did not fare any better. The rice was dry, the cheeses had sat too long and the counters were very dirty. Avoid this sad excuse of a lounge...
Read moreThe 1 of the 4 staff I talked to on Thursday night was extremely condescending and nearly caused me to miss my entrances because of asking the wrong questions. I was extremely polite, jet lagged and confused.
Hello I’m flying business. To where? MSP You dont get access just for flying business domestic (she didn’t ask where I was flying from which was international) I blinked because I specifically booked this flight that had a long layover only because I would get lounge access. Are you a part of the club? How would I find out if I am? (The app says you are in the club just different tiers) Do you pay multiple hundred dollars a year to be in the club? (!??!! There are several different ways to be in the club like having the credit card and profiling me was rude) you can try your boarding pass if you want.
So I went to click it and it said something I didn’t understand and I started to walk away until someone called me back and told me it went through.
Flight was delayed, I pushed it to the next day, and when I came back again I needed to go through it all again.
Food is bland, meek and poorly made.
Most of the staff was lovely and they do have comfortable chairs.
United also delayed my flight every hour for another hour for 5 hours and then 11 hours. TWICE.
Did not compensate hotel. No chance to sleep because you always think you will have to head to the airport or board. Slept. 5 hours and then 3 hours...
