I’ve always been a fan of the brand and its products, which is why this experience was so disappointing. At this location, the overall service was extremely poor and does not reflect the standards consumers should expect from a recognized brand.

Most of the staff showed no interest in providing basic customer service — no greeting, no smile, and barely speaking when taking my order. When I requested a simple sauce, I was looked at as if I was doing something wrong. I even said, “If you want, charge me for it,” but the attitude remained negative. This type of treatment can make customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is not acceptable, especially in an airport setting where travelers already face stress and time pressure.

There was, however, one young woman with glasses who stood out for her kindness and professionalism. She was the only person who provided respectful and pleasant service. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff, including the manager and the person handing out food, seemed unwilling to deliver even the most basic level of service.

As a loyal customer, I share this feedback not just as a complaint, but as a call for improvement. Better training, more engagement, and simple courtesy from the team would greatly enhance the experience for all travelers and consumers. A brand like this should make customers feel welcome, not...

The employee Carlos was rude... didn't make eye contact with ANY customers and managed to screw up 3 orders while I was there today August 10th at around 11am. He didn't say thank you or respond when the customers told him thank you. He kept tapping the counter with his fists when customers were ordering as if we were not being fast enough. I repeated my order twice. I asked for a double plain no cheese. Only meat and bread and ge still got it wrong. Maybe if he cared about having some type of customer service he would get his orders right. He absolutely should not be working with customers especially in an airport where ppl are already tired and hungry. The food is bland for the price. The other boy gave us free fries because he could tell we got bad service. I also spoke to what I think is a supervisor as he was walking ahead of us and he agreed that restaurant employees...

I rarely regret eating anywhere, but I really regret eating here. I do not want to describe the food because I am well raised, and I don't like the use of foul language (at least not in a public forum). I never thought a burger and a shake could be this bad. Of course, to top it off, the rude person helping me had me repeat the order three times because she couldn't pay attention, almost made my shake wrong if it wasn't for me yelling from afar: no whipped cream three times, and didn't even ask if I wanted my order to go and automatically bagged it. Over and above, when I asked to sit at the bar because there were no available seats, she refused in a manner that can only be described as extremely rude. Unfortunately, she is not wearing a name tag. Oh, and all this, after I was bullied into paying a 20% tip. Regret regret regret and...

Absolutely the worst damn service I have ever experienced. Had 12-16 employees there but 5-8 of them just standing chatting. Ordered at 2:06 pm on a Monday and received my meal at 2:31 pm after finally having to say something. Then employee tried telling someone else there she called that number but I was standing beside the register area the whole time waiting on my food. After calling her out about lying she called my number out she said oh it must have been a number near that. They had to then remake the meal because it was never made from the start. I would not recommend this establishment at the Newark Airport to anyone. I can handle a little time because your busy but to lie about you called that number and see 5-8 employees standing around goofing off is unacceptable for a franchise establishment.

Then when I got my order, the fries were luke warm and the burger wasn’t made very well, with hardly any sauce and a extremely small beef patty. Flavor was ok. The staff was very disinterested in providing any level of decent service to the customers as well. Lady next to me asked for hot sauce after getting her order and the lady said it would be $1.10. That’s simply ridiculous… if you don’t ask the customer what condiments they want when placing the initial order, you better not charge them afterwards. Over priced with poor service – Definitely not returning!

I recently stopped by BurgerFi in Newark Airport and tried "The CEO" burger. The burger itself was delicious – juicy and full of flavor, as expected from BurgerFi. However, the wait time was disappointing. It took nearly 17 minutes to get my order, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy – plenty of seats were available, and the line wasn’t long. I’d expect faster service in an airport setting, where quick turnaround is key. Overall, while the burger quality and staff friendliness were excellent, the slow service was a letdown.
