I've never written a Google review before, but absolutely wow. What the hell.
For context, I'm a young woman, and next to me a slightly older man was sat about 5 minutes after me. The waiter (Claude, I think?) addresses the man first, asking for his order. The man says 'she was here first' and the waiter rolled his eyes and stepped towards me and took my order (a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and a pepsi).
15 minutes later, the waiter approaches saying 'chicken bacon ranch, right?' and when I say yes he plops the plate in front of me before turning to the man saying 'give me a moment!' I didn't notice right away, but he accidentally gave me the man's sandwich. It happens, nbd. It might be a language thing since the waiter has a thick accent. So when he comes back I tell him as much, but then he tries to spin it on me and say it was my fault for saying it was mine (when he literally said it was? The man ordered a burger with mac n cheese on it but he said he had chicken).
The waiter then brings out a different burger, idk what it was but it was beef. I thought maybe he wasn't hearing me right, so I asked someone else about it. She asks for a moment, the waiter comes back and somewhat aggressively asks what's wrong with it. I say that it isn't chicken, he rolls his eyes and says he'll get his manager. At this point I'm wishing I had cash so I could leave, I'm honestly about to cry.
After another 20 minutes, he shows up with the right sandwich and says 'is this finally ok?' He also apologizes to the man several times. So I eat it, and then he comes back a couple more times to say 'is it right this time?' This is honestly the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip, it was just insane. I tried my best not to be rude, I really did, and the man next to me said I wasn't, but I don't know. Regardless, just. Yikes. I wasn't expecting much from an airport restaurant, but I certainly wasn't expecting to be...

The ambiance of Flavortown added to the overall experience, capturing the essence of Guy Fieri's bold and vibrant culinary style. The staff's enthusiasm and dedication to delivering a memorable dining experience were evident, enhancing the enjoyment of the meal.
However, it's essential to address the elephant in the room—the price. While the culinary adventure was undeniably delightful, the cost left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. The steep price tag did make me pause and reflect on whether the gastronomic journey was truly worth the investment.
In conclusion, Flavortown by Guy Fieri in the Newark New Jersey airport offers a taste sensation that is unparalleled, especially with their mouthwatering cheese steak and garlic butter sauce. The vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff contribute to an overall positive dining experience. Nevertheless, the pricing might be a factor for some, prompting a thoughtful consideration of whether the culinary journey justifies...
Read moreThis is one the worst airport experiences I’ve EVER had. I walked over to purchase 1FULL HOUR before my flight began boarding. I didn’t realize how long the whole process was until my husband called me to let me know our flight was boarding. I order there quick items to go. The cashier Michael was friendly but not very helpful. About 5 minutes after my order Michael asked me about one of the items and told me it would take no more than 10 minutes. Almost 40 minutes after I ordered I received a call from my husband about boarding. At that time, I asked Michael about the status of my order. Well I attempted to do so, he was too busy showing a waitress something on his phone to notice me calling him. Eventually a manager from another location got his attention. He told me the kitchen was behind. Another 20 minutes went by and at this point the flight was doing last call. I rushed over in an attempt to get any news. Michelle spent another 10 minutes in the kitchen and walked out with part of my order. I asked for a refund and explained my urgency. He slowly walked over to find a manager or just as nonchalantly walked over. They both attempted to give me a partial refund. They didn’t even bother to ask me what I ordered. Long story short, thanks to my husband and the kind jet blue crew we made it to my flight. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE EXPENSIVE AND CARELESS. I wish there was someone I could contact to really explain my experience. Don’t...
