The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We came to the Englewood Store near Hampden and Santa Fe to shop one of their sales, and had already picked out $100+ of products when one of kids announced that he needed the restroom. We sent him up to the front to ask and when he hadn’t returned after 10 minutes, I came up to check on him. He was still waiting for someone to even acknowledge him. So… I bring him along to go find an employee in the store. I locate one helping someone else. I waited for a logical pause in their conversation and say “I’m so sorry but….” And was met with a gruff “One Second, Ma’am!”. Okaaaaay…. Off we went to maybe find the bathroom and hopefully another employee. Luckily, we found the bathroom and an employee. I say, “Sir, could we…” and again I was interrupted with “Hang on!”. Oh my freaking God! Ok, here come two more employees, walking right towards us, so I wave to them and say,” excuse me, do you work here? My kids just needs the restroom.” They make eye contact with me and TURN. AROUND. to walk away! Are you ducking kidding me?! Finally, my husband walks over and I announce loudly that no one is willing to help us and that we’ve been brushed off by everyone we have tried to ask, and wouldn’t you know it…? Suddenly there is a flurry of three employees jumping in to unlock the door and tell me, “he’s OPENING it for you!” and, “I was helping customers!” Finally, the original guy we tried approaching comes to find us (which I have to say was the only piece of this entire experience that I was impressed with), but as soon as I started telling him what the problem was, he just turned around and walked away. WTAF?! Here’s the deal... I have managed many stores. I have worked years of Customer Support. I totally understand prioritizing customers by order in line, but, when you see a mom come up with young children and she is speaking with urgency, it’s usually because urgency is required. Thank goodness I didn’t have a kid that needed to vomit, otherwise they’d have had it throughout their entire store. Or worse yet, that none of my children were missing, because I would have had to wait until it was convenient for them or until I had a man standing with me. The first thing I always taught my employees was customer management. It takes a just a couple extra seconds to acknowledge the next customer waiting and getting them help if needed and it makes a WORLD of difference. They all had ear pieces and could have easily called backup to help. Or, if any of them had seen me as more than just a nuisance, they might have recognized a mom with kids needed something fairly urgently and asked the customer they were helping if they minded pausing to make sure we were ok. But, no. No help for us until my husband showed up, and then they all looked at him like I was crazy. Unbelievable. Needless to say, I’m sure if you’re a man, you’ll probably have no problem getting the service you need here. But, if you’re a woman, good luck in this place. And if you care about a woman or a child, maybe considering speaking to this store with your purchases (or...
Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would. Lady was rude , I realized they had about 2 hours before they went home.
However, 5 people including myself were just standing there clueless on specific speacial items they carried and have carried for years .
We just couldn't find them at all.
So, i walk up empty handed attempting to ask for help.
They lady in gray hair with color dye immediately states in closed youll have to check out at the other registered.
I responded, i just had a question on a item and where it might be?
She replies back, " if we had it it would be in aisle 4 somewhere". Otherwise, we wouldn't have it.
Ive purchased several times at different locations. Over the years moved sold my house and the item was left installed with the home as an upgrade.
Knowing they carried the item, just couldn't find it. And was looking through the whole store with no help nor acknowledgement that we were evening shopping. Worst service ever.
I really wanted to say something to the manager. They didnt care.
I happen to be looking and a worker is stocking . As them, no one is willing to help us all out.
Where looking for a lock box.
She states itll be on another aisle 4.
I express to her the other lady told me 3. No, at this point very confused. Still go searching no luck.
Go back and date please just direct me to where it might be because I'm honestly clueless on where you guys stock your product.
They weren't willing to help. I had to tell her, just walk with me and show me. Of course she takes me right to it. And shows me safes. And hidden out of sight was the item I was looking for.
She was upset. Frustrated but had a smile in her voice.
Then we all are waiting at the check out. Same lady states, anyone with card only ill take next .
And while checking me out. She didn't even bag my items, i had to bag my own items.
She said, min later. I would have bagged it I didn't know you wanted a bag.
Just horrible service . A,10 min walk in walk out. Turned into over an hour experinece and whole waste of time.
I will be never shopping here again.
If they think cheap prices cheap product no servic3, just cash out, is business I dont want to have anything to do with it .
I walked around the store as well and asked several customers have they been helped, do they need help, what were they looking for. They all were looking for a specific item they couldn't find and never got help.
Still in the store now as we speak, while I'm writing this review.
Just terrible.
Good bye harbor cheap freight no servic.
Stay away.
I dont know why, i came back and regretting . But no more.
Beware stay away..
Unless you like being treated that way and spending countless valuable time in One store for 1 item....
