My husband and I enjoyed our drinks and food at Kind Coffee. The location was along the water which was awesome. I also purchased some items from the gift section of the store because everything was so cute.
When we received our food order we found that we were given two bagel slices instead of the breakfast sandwich we ordered. Of course we brought this up with staff and requested what we ordered. Staff members were very confused about the mix up and tried to say we were already given our breakfast sandwich (we weren't). Then one staff member said the order was entered wrong. It was difficult for them to find a solution to a $4-5 breakfast sandwich. I even offered to pay the up charge if the order was entered wrong. In the end I was finally given the sandwich without an up charge but the staff were definitely not very "kind" about it. If your workplace is named "kind" anything maybe try to live up to the name even a little. Mistakes happen. Take responsibility next time because glaring at your customers and making a scene is not going to help your business.
We were in Estes Park celebrating our first wedding anniversary and chose to begin our day here. This was not the start of our day we were hoping for. We will be trying somewhere...
Read moreDidn't get a "hi" when we came in; didn't get a "goodbye" when we left. Staff gave friendly hello's and goodbye's to other customers in here; we stayed in there for some reason to eat our burritos and watched as the staff greeted everyone with smiles and asking how their days were going. They said to everyone after us, "Have a good day!" But never once said anything like that to us. Why?? An older couple grabbing coffee even told us hello as we were leaving, but the staff (3 college-looking girls) paid us no attention. Even when I initially walked up to the register I had to wait to be served -- not because the girls were all busy or making drinks, but because they were having conversations amongst themselves & with other customers. I get it -- I'm not a local and don't have an established repetoire with staff. But Estes Park is a very touristy town and relies on this influx of new customers. Wouldn't you want to ensure your out-of-town visitors have a plesant and memorable experience?
Overall, seemed generally apathetic toward my business. This was my first time at Kind Coffee and it wasn't a good first experience. I won't be returning since I'm rather disappointed by the...
Read moreFrustrating experience overall due to extremely poor customer service. I don’t believe they read or acknowledge their poor reviews, but I hope if you’re visiting Estes Park like us you will take this review into consideration.
We paid for an hour of parking and ended up spending 40 minutes in the coffee shop… due to our order being “lost” (2 drinks… no food). We noticed a line of customers waiting for their coffee. We joined and patiently waited. Yes — they were busy. However, once customers who ordered after us started getting their orders we were wondering when we’d get called next. Finally, after 4 customers who ordered after us received their coffee we asked for an update on our order. Order was lost. They didn’t see us standing in the same spot (right by the coffee pickup counter) for 40 minutes while the crowd died down?
Long story short, bland coffee that could not redeem the terrible service. Take your time and money to Coffee On The Rocks and...
