This music festival is friendly toward young people, old people, dancers, and seated music fans alike. The volunteers do a great job ensuring that the event is run safely and smoothly, and that musicians and guests have what they need to have a wonderful time. There are dance contests, dance performances, and excellent food and drink. The shuttle drivers are prompt, friendly, and courteous. It is a steal for a festival with a huge quantity of venues all containing world renowned musicians over three days! I highly recommend this festival to anyone, but especially lindy hoppers and swing dancers who can benefit from the danceable music and abundant...

Every year, for many years, we hop, skip and drive a long ways to get to the best Jazz Festival, Eureka!!! We bring friends who after they fall in love with the Redwood Jazz Festival, return and bring more friends. We’ve made new friends and get to see old friends. Amongst those friends are some of the many volunteers who give countless hours so that we all can enjoy the music and dance our fannies off. I hope that the DISGRUNTLED REVIEWER will take the time to talk to the people whom they are unhappy with. I believe this event wants to make itself better than ever. If you share, we all win.
