I will NEVER return to Farmington Gliks location. I was not asked at all if I needed help while shopping. The girls were too busy talking to each other at the register. I purchased a shirt as a gift for my uncle and he tried it on 1 time, it was too small, they would not return it, OR EXCHANGE IT, because the tag was detached. I still had the tag, receipt and bag. It was a $30 shirt, so now I'm taking a loss on a shirt that is completely useless to me, JUST BECAUSE THE TAG WAS NOT ATTACHED. The manager was really cold and has no business being in this industry. Beware buying things from this store. They didn't warn me at all when I bought it. When I went to return it. They said that it's on the receipt, but I've never heard of a store being this cheap or this policy anywhere else and I didn't think that it was a thing at all. I have proof that I purchased the product and I have everything that came with it when I purchased it. It's very clear that this store doesn't want people to return items, but that's just a part of the retail industry. It happens, but yeah, apparently not at this store. I ended up calling the corporate number and uh, the customer service Woman said that I would need to send her the shirt so she could examine it to make sure it was not worn or have any stains on it like deodorant stains. At this point, I'm just thinking I should just cut my losses because they're making this way too hard. I guess that's the point so they don't have a return. If you are wanting the a good, wholesome retail shopping experience, I do not recommend...
Read morei usually have a fairly good shopping experience. often the clothes are kindove pricy but i usually find shoes i like in their clearance. i went a few days ago to return a pair of shoes i had only worn once. i had the box, the plastic bags they were still in, and the receipt. i went in and there was a really sweet blonde girl (who seemed to be in training) who offered to complete the return for me. she turned to a shorter bald man (who i assumes to be her trainer) and he looked at the shoes. he said that they couldn’t take returns that had clear wear. i personally didn’t think the shoes looked worn besides a small amount of dirt on the bottom but it wasn’t too big of a deal. if that’s their policy i’m not gonna argue. my problem is the way the man told me this. he said it rather snobby, as if i was griss or he had somehow caught me doing something bad. he held the she’s up and shook them at me stating they’ve clearly been worn in a very rude manner. i know that retail workers are often treated unfairly but i assure you a barely talked to either of these worker the entire time i was in this store, let alone treated either of them with unkindness. while i’ll probably go back to shop their vans i certainly won’t buy anything while that...
Read moreI’ve easily spent over a thousand dollars shopping there over the last several years. I went and bought some shorts and flip flops before my vacation. I tried the flip flops on at home and they were very uncomfortable and scratchy. When I got back I decided to return them and buy something else. Not even get my money back but purchase another item. The employee called their district manager and they said because I had tried them on they wouldn’t return them. I hate to be petty but thats ridiculous. I can’t even know if I don’t like them if I don’t wear them. They never left my house other than to be returned and were never worn outside or for more than a minute or two. The lady that helped was nice and it wasn’t her fault but that stores been going downhill for a while. Most of the employees have attitudes and are rude and gossip about people while customers are in the store. I’ll just go to St. Louis or online to shop from...
