The store is super cute and prices are good, if I was rating this store base on that alone I would have given it a 5 star review but unfortunately the customer service experience was a dissapointment they do not have "Public bathrooms" they say with two bathrooms atbthe back on the storeby the exit doors,, in my view if you are a paying customer you not just public you are a supporter, I do understand that they should control the access to the bathrooms cause if you not consuming anything than. you should not have access to it, I really was in a emergency kind of situation and all this customer rep said was the she only works there and she could get fired for letting me use the bathroom which is crazy to hear, but it was in a very condescending attitude so I could not take it seriously or feel sorry for her working conditions base on that statement, instead her alternative was to send me trader Joe's which the fact the relie in another store to take care of their customers it's a shame, for this I can only give it a 3 start review cause I consider this part all the whole shopping experience at...
Read moreCool store but bad customer service from the 2 Asian guys that were at the register when I went in yesterday. They were gossiping (just like girls would do) about certain customers in the store shopping at the time and I heard it. I bet they didn't think I can hear them because we were kind of far from the register area. They were racist straight up; the guy put up a fake act of politeness and didn't want to give me a bag. The other guy who was with him walked away, feeling guilty because he knew I heard the stuff he said. I almost confronted them about it, but there was no need to start anything in the store. Maybe it's time to step out of the closet guys! Talking about how they are picky with girls. Maybe they want someone who looks like a girl but really isn't? And the fact they had all the girls stocking while those 2 stand and talk at the register just...
Read moreI've shopped at Daiso in Japan for years and in the Seattle area for even longer. They've got a great variety of really useful items and a bunch more that are just fun or cute. I also go there for things like rubber bands, spray bottles (for basting barbeque), and seasonal decorations.
I occasionally get miffed by their pricing tags in America. The yen sticker should be covered because seeing it is misleading. For example, I found some new cloth today, and the label say 300, so I read it as 3.00, USD. It wasn't until I got to the cashier that I was told it was 4.00. That's highly annoying, when other items that are more than the regular 1.50 are clearly labeled.
But it will not stop me from coming back, because overall, it's a...
