I wanted to share my recent experience at Crab and More, which unfortunately left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in, the service felt disengaged. I had spoken with the hostessâwho also turned out to be our serverâand let her know that I was dining with a group of influencers who would be recording, reviewing the food, and hoping to connect with someone from the team. While I didnât expect special treatment, there was no follow-up or acknowledgment, and that set the tone for what became a disappointing evening.
We ordered three cocktails, which sat on the bar for at least 15 minutes. For my order, I had asked if dragon fruit could be added, and the server initially said yes. When the drinks were prepared without it, she casually mentioned, âOh, I forgot to tell you they canât do that, but thatâs okay, right?ââpointing at the untouched drinks that had been sitting out. By that point, people were hovering over them, so we asked if they could be remade. It was an uncomfortable interaction that didnât feel customer-focused.
Food service was also extremely slow. Our party of three waited about an hour after ordering before dishes arrived. When they did, the food itself was goodâIâd rate it an 8/10 for quality. The heat was there, but it could have used a bit more seasoning to bring out the full flavor. Unfortunately, our server only stopped by the table three times (to which I had to flag her down) during what ended up being nearly a three-hour visit. We would have ordered more drinks and enjoyed ourselves longer, but it often felt like we were invisible.
At the end of the night, we spent $400, yet the experience fell short of what youâd expect for that price point. Overall, Iâd give the food an 8/10, but the service a 7/10 at best. With some adjustments in attentiveness and communication, this place could truly shine, but for us, it was an evening of more waiting...
Read moreThey had a pretty good service here. The workers were nice. I liked that when you first get there they give you samples of each base sauce you want. Buuuut itâs over priced. If you want anything like an extra sauce on the side itâs 6 bucks. Headless shrimp 6 bucks. Go to any other sea food boil and itâll be 2 bucks maybe even 3. Headless shrimp is the same thing. Donât come here expecting a great meal. Go to zestys steak house and crab boil or captain crab. Way better sauces, cheaper but equally as good alcohol and youâll get WAY more food for half the price of this place. Paper plates for the buttery food which is NOT a good combo. No bucket to put your crab shells and shrimp skin. Let me get back to the shrimp actually. Not only is it 6 bucks for headless but the shrimp isnât even cut down the back so your fighting every little shrimp just to get some meat, Pause. You canât just pull the skin off like you would at any other crab boil place. And get sausage on the side they give you basically half a link for 6 bucks. Which isnât even cut they just give you the link. The seasoning was basically sweet I asked for hot and lemme tell you if thatâs hot then Iâm disappointed. I tried to give it a chance but there was just so much disappointment with this place. Iâm not one to be picky about places even if they arenât that good. Nothing has been so bad that I actually go out of my way to leave a bad review. I get it Iâm only 1 customer but Iâll never come here again and save urself the time and money and just go hungry for the rest of the day or better options like captain crab or zestys. I hate to leave this...
Read moreI want to say⌠that this place was top notch best seafood spot i have ever been to. I tried other places in Washington but it did not match the taste, nor the expectations I was coming in to see.
For starters, I arrived there with my little sister and was seated immediately! They gave us our menus and I wasnât sure what the sauces would taste like so like most seafood spots I figured Iâm gon have to guess and run with that⌠right?! Well I was wrong! They actually brought you little cups and spoons to sample their sauces before you try and get it on your plate and my favorite sauce was their Cajun sauce with no spices. (I was not trynna go home with a spicy bum okay?!) on top of that the food was PLENTY!!!! Cuz I will say that I had a big back moment and maaaaannnn they out did them selves and the owner would come around and check on you and the servers WOULD PACK YOUR TO GO FOOD AS WELL!!!! I got the combo 2 with the Cajun sauce with no spice and the crab fries and shrimp spring rolls and my little sister got the combo 2 with Cajun sauce no spice.
Yall this place for sureeeee out did themselves. 10/10 recommend this place and would come again I loved it there.
Oh and they BATHROOMS!!! I would not be surprised if yâall gon take a selfie in there and take your time to get out...
