Honey Bear Vietnamese Sandwich — Restaurant in Federal Way

It's clean and the staff is friendly. I'm obsessed with their grilled pork banh mi. It is probably the best banh mi I've had. The grilled pork it's self is super flavorful and the bread is just at the right crisp the my mouth doesn't get tired eating and soft enough that it doesn't hurt my gums. I love that they give you so much meat but add more veggies then other banh mi places so it's fuller. Plus I love the veggies in manh mi so it's perfect for me. The other thing I'm obsessed with is the Asian Zing chicken. It's sooo good. They come out so hot that you have to wait a second and the crispness is the winner. Plus they are huge. The cook really knows what he is doing. The Thai tea is one of the best I've had and my niece says she thinks she is addicted to them now. All in all. I went here to get food and left with an experience. First and foremost, the mango habanero wings were delicious. It had the right amount of crunch and spicy flavor. I also tried the egg rolls which were some of the best I’ve had. The food was hot and fresh and the customer service was superb!!!! If you’re ever in Federal Way you need to check this place out, you won’t regret it!!!!! I will definitely be eating here again. 10 stars!!!!

Update 9/12/23: When I go to Honey Bear Deli, I usually order the wings ,which are superb, in any flavor. Today I tried the sautéed chicken lemongrass Banh Mi sandwich. The sandwich was made right on spot. The chicken was tender and very flavorful with a kick of spice. The bread and ingredients were fresh. Overall the sandwich was home run for me. HONEY BEAR is the best place to eat in Federal Way. Period. I've been eating at this place for about 4 years now, seen the ownership change, and also tried the competition around... Nothing compares to Honey Bear Vietnamese, especially in 2024 and beyond (2025 restaurant of the year? 👀)

Let me tell you they continue to evolve with time. Whether it's exploring new menu items, hosting pop-up events, or just delivering quality food, time after time, with unmatched consistency. If you haven't eaten here yet, what are you doing? Get you some immediately! Try the world-class chicken wings (fish sauce, asian zing, etc.), and the fried rice is incredible. And you simply can't go wrong with the lemongrass tofu banh mi 🤤 I must have eaten 500+ of them sandwiches by now.
