On my most recent visit to this TJ Maxx that I have been shopping at for well over 10 years I had a wonderful experience with two employees. And a not do great one with another customer. The first employee was Barb, She works the fitting room area and has worked at TJ Maxx for as long as I have shopped there and she always does the very best to take care of her customers. On my most recent visit, I was shopping for a new item and needed a case unlocked . Barb noticed myself and my spouse looking and asked if she could get somebody for us and we let her know that we were still just looking and would let her know if we did indeed need assistance. A couple minutes later my husband goes to Barb and lets her know that we are going to be making a purchase and would need a case unlocked. Barb immediately and in a very friendly manner paged an employee to assist us. When that employee arrived myself, and my husband were standing at the counter, as well as another customer who had just walked up, the employee that we had requested immediately walked past us to this older taller woman, and asked if she could assist her. At this point, I said, excuse me we were who had requested an employee, and Before the employee can even respond the other customer gets in my face and tells me not to be rude that she had been shopping and waiting and made eye contact with this person and that we could wait. I attempted not to not engage with her And simply get my item to continue being berated by this other female customer. As I was asking for a manager, she says ā Give these employees a break, why donāt you. Thereās enough other things to be worried about todayā And continue to engage with the other employee, talking very loudly about myself and my spouse, At this point, I have stopped responding to her all and was waiting for the manager. At that time, Tracy promptly came over to assist my spouse and I. At that time, Tracy, the Manager witnessed the other customer continuing to verbally harass me making very loud, rude comments that the entire area of the store could hear about me and my spouse. As she continue while I was trying to make my purchase I said you are harassing me and you need to stop. I am not even speaking to you maāam. At this point, she takes a step towards me and laughs in the loudest way Iāve ever heard and states Iām not the one harassing people. At that time, Tracy, the manager told her that she needed to stop that she was indeed harassing me and if she did not stop, she would have To leave the store. This other customer then demands Tracyās first and last name and says she is going to call corporate and get them āfiredā. Tracy in true professional manner told her her first name and said she didnāt need to give her a last name. The other person left before Iāve completed my purchase, and Tracy was apologetic and kind and just wonderful. I want to give kudos to Tracy for keeping collected and taking care of a customer in a truly professional manner. After I completed my purchase, I walked over to speak to Barb again because I wanted to let her know how much I appreciated her Barb being the kind person. She is reached out to give me a hug and said itās OK. Iāve worked here for 13 years you asked for the employee to assist you, she also let Tracy know that we had been there first and weāre the ones that requested the employee. I donāt know what trials and tribulations that other customer was facing that day, but thereās no reason for you to dress down a couple merely shopping in Store and requesting assistance. TJ Maxx corporate if you read this, you have a truly wonderful asset in both Barb and Tracy if not for their professional attitude my purchase would not have been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this store yesterday around 2:30 PM and was immediately drawn to the jewelry counter to purchase a piece of jewelry. The woman at the counter had her back turned to me and was having a discussion with an associate. I waited a full 7 minutes and was never even acknowledged then she left the counter and went on break. So I left the counter to do other shopping. I completed my shopping in other departments and went to check out and the register attendant was again having a conversation with an associate. Did not greet me or talk to me at all. Just rang me up while talking to his peer about school and email. Is it to much to expect customer service anymore? The definition of service includes taking care of the revenue source which is the customer! This is why most of us shop online these days. There is no benefit in the at location...

One of the middle age lady from cashier had misbehaved with me. I went today with a return which was a Disney small box of ear rings for kids. She refused me stating that they cannot issues me a store credit which I was willing to spend right away. Because I lost my receipt.. it was just $16.. and for my daughter which she did not like.. and I wanted to take a different one right away..
Definitely NOT returning back to this store.. tj max need to understand that there are multiple options for customers. And with this kind of employee they are just...
