Bought an xbox game, got home and it didn't work. Next day attempted to return and was told by cust svcs desk that it was against their policy to return and to contact manufacturer. Came home and went on xbox live. They determined they couldn't help me and found it odd that target wouldn't exchange. Next day back to target and I demanded my $60 or an exchange and the person at desk (same guy from first trip) gave me the same story. I argued with him and finally asked for the manager and he said I am the manager. He would not give me his managers name which infuriated me. Finally the young lady at the register next to him gave me the store managers name and also reiterated their company policy. I left with them doing nothing to help me. Back on xbox live and they have now referred me to Activision. Called and spoke to a target manager today to complain and guess what she said? "Thats against our company policy". She also gave me a1800 cust service line which sounds like more hoops to jump through. I'll never shop at target again. If u sell a product, you should stand behind it. I was left with the feeling that they couldn't...
Read moreI had a mixed experience during a recent visit to Target. The employee who helped me was fantasticâvery helpful and doing their best under the circumstances. However, there was a long wait because only one employee had the key to unlock certain merchandise. Despite multiple employees trying to assist, the responsibility fell solely on this one person, who was clearly overwhelmed.
Considering itâs the holiday season, better planning and staffing should have been in place to handle the increased demand. When I asked to speak to a manager âJJâI was told they needed to know why before speaking to me, which felt dismissive. When the manager finally came, they seemed uninterested and unhelpful in addressing the root issue: inadequate staffing and resource planning.
This was an inconvenience for me as a customer. I left feeling frustrated and will likely turn to Amazon next time for a smoother shopping experience. Target can and...
Read moreHow does Target find all the decent, kind, well-kept, helpful humans to hire, and Walmart only seems to find... well... not that? I adore the Fenton Target. Itâs clean, well-organized, big enough to have most of what I need, but small enough that it doesnât take me half an hour to run in for something at the back of the store. As if I needed to run in anymore, though - have you tried the curbside pickup?? Guys, seriously, itâs a game-changer if youâve ever tried to shop with little kids. I ticked off every stupidly specific little school supply item that all the teachers wanted right in the Target app, and then THEY BROUGHT THEM TO MY CAR. I spent exactly 0 minutes and 0 seconds dragging whiny children through stores for back-to-school shopping this year. Target, youâve got me pegged. (Also, Starbucks now?! Soon youâll be telling me that thereâs free...
