I’ve been to this new Chick-fil-A twice now, and both times the service has been disappointingly slow and disorganized.
The first visit, we ordered inside and sat down. The restaurant looks great — clean and fresh since it’s newly built — but our food took a surprisingly long time to come out. I eventually had to ask someone about it. It wasn’t a huge issue then since my kids were playing in the playplace, but the delay definitely stood out.
Today, I tried mobile ordering to save time. I placed my lunch order at 10:22am and arrived at 10:26am, fully aware of the 10–15 minute breakfast-to-lunch changeover. When I got there, there was no QR code to check in. Around 10:35am, an employee finally came out and set the QR code sign up in the drive thru like it should've been. Meanwhile, I watched car after car in the regular drive-thru get their food and leave while I just sat there waiting.
What made it worse was seeing several employees standing around instead of coming over to check me in. It took 15 minutes before anyone came to check on me, and when they finally did, I was told to park in Spot #1 to wait even longer. From start to finish, my “mobile” order took about 25 minutes — not exactly convenient.

Read moreThis is a new location, and I assume there are many new employees. It will likely take several months for everything to run as smoothly as it does at other locations. However, I have never experienced a "bad" location, and I believe it would be unfair to give a low rating simply because it is new.
I do want to address one point that someone else mentioned: the mobile drive-thru. It was not nearly as fast as at other locations, and the regular line was moving quicker.
