Bashas' — Local services in Flagstaff

I'm not sure if the issue with this store is the people they are staffing, their lack of staffing, or both. My past two visits (and now, my LAST two visits, at that) at this store have been subpar and I will go out of my way to the Safeway a few blocks down if I need just a few quick things and I don't want to drive all the way to the Fry's.

A week ago, I run into the store after checking my mail next door for a couple things I had coupons about to expire on. It took well over 5-10 minutes and a Manager to input fracking COUPONS into self-checkout. And the best part is that the girl at SCO told me "it's a Fry's coupon, we can't take it" because the reverse of the coupon had a Fry's logo from the coupon book, while it says in big bold letters on the front, "MANUFACTUER'S COUPON".

Then today, I went to cash in a few lottery tickets, and while the hours at the counter say 10AM to 7PM, the girl at self checkout tried to page a manager over and after 5 minutes, I told her to forget it and I would go somewhere else. Also, each time I've run in, there's not more than 2 lanes open, and SCO is backed up into the aisles making it impossible to navigate through that corner of the store.

Dude as if this place could t get worse they let so eone probably one of the employees put their groceries in the ice freezers I. The front across from the starbucks, food and everything fell out of one bag and there's crumbs and food debris inside their ice machine this was Sunday July 21 this place is a cross contamination nightmare I wouldn't trust a single thing from any of the departments any more. Don't go to the customer service desk if you need anything done with any kind of speed or urgency I got there at 4:45 had one person in front of me and I still didn't make it to the bank by 5 that was right across the street, guy does his job but he does it so slow if you can avoid this place you'll save more time driving somewhere else no where else takes that long to send money threw Western Union and get a money order. 15 minutes to help 2 people is beyond ridiculous won't be coming back I know better now, it's a shame the sushi bar is on point if I could give him 5 stars alone I would. I'd rather go out of my way to SAVE TIME instead of go to the place right next to where I needed to go super inconvenient...

The manager/supervisor of the store accused me of stealing before I was even able to purchase my items from the store. He told me his name was Brian Thomas, although he was not wearing a name tag so he could have been lying. He racial profiled me because I am an African American male and tried to have me kicked out of the store in front of all the customers!!! This was the most embarrassing thing I had to endure while living in flagstaff and he should not be able to continue running a grocery store if he is going to accuse every black person he sees of stealing items. I called customer service and left a voicemail. I am humiliated and will no longer give bashes my services. I advise you all to do the same.
