Literally the WORST experience I have ever had at any sort of healthcare-related facility, and this is coming from someone who once had a dentist accidentally drill into her tongue. I called to schedule a physical exam with Dr. Rebecca Leech and was assured by the receptionist that it would be covered by my insurance. I went in, had what I believed to be a physcial exam (I've never had one before because I'm leery of medical practitioners) and thought everything went fine.
Soon after, I get bills totaling over 150$. I had to call like 5 times before I finally got all the information I needed, and it turns out that Dr. Leech claimed I visited the office for 'fatigue' problems just because it was something I marked on the form they gave me to fill out! They asked multiple questions, among them whether I feel 'tired and fatigued often' and I put yes because I work 10 hour shifts and commute 1 hour each way! After multiple calls and visits to the office trying to contact the doctor I figure out (no thanks to them, a coworker told me) that I have to make an account online to message the doctor. I tried to do this and they had put in my information wrong, so I had to call tech support to even set that up. The receptionist told me she would look into the billing and call me, she never did. Finally I was able to reach the doctor and Dr. Leech was arrogant and dismissive, basically calling me a liar.
She showed absolutely 0 remorse for all the trouble her and her staff have put me through. I expressed outrage at the treatment I have received and all the time that has been wasted and the bill for what she told me was apparently not even a physical like I asked for and I have heard NOTHING back. All this company apparently cares about is money, not the care of their patients. If you must go here, at least avoid this doctor. Huge waste of my...
Read moreMy experiences since I have been with UC Health/Florence office have been less than pleasant. There is an obvious incompetency issue. From the medical physicians themselves and their methods of examination, diagnosis. And treatment; to getting proper prescriptions and refills on prescriptions. The staff become very rude and argumentative. I’m guessing they have yet to realize they are now in Florence, not Clifton. I am very unimpressed and displeased with the overall quality of staff, their lack of professionalism, and their integrity as a whole. I do not, and will not, recommend UC Health/Florence office to anyone, ever. Needless to say, I will not be staying with UC Health/Florence office, I will be going elsewhere. I highly recommend anyone considering them as their primary physician’s office to reconsider, and seek a more quality alternative. No one should have to accept this lack of competence, integrity, or the disrespectful behavior from a...
Read moreI have gone to this office 2 times. Too bad i can't give them a 0.... Both times were horrible. My first experience I waited 2 hours passed my appointment time to be seen. The doctor didn't seem like she cared about anything I was going through. She offered the same treatments that I have tried before that didn't work. Then I found today and the receptionist was on the phone talking to someone personal and acted as of our bothered her when I went to check in, she was like I have to go now . Then she told me I'd have to wait there were several people in front of me. I asked how many and she was like well and counted the people in the waiting area. I left and I WON'T go back. I mean of you know your running late call and let me know. I mean we still get charged if we cancel and it's within 24 hours, but you want me to put my life on hold to wait in your office...
