Apricot Lane Boutique — Local services in Folsom

I went in on a whim to give the shop another try and was extremely pleasantly surprised by two things:

They have stepped up their game when it comes to their brands they carry. They had a great selection of Free People and Varley while also staying true to their other brands such as Elan. As someone in their 30's, I felt there were a lot more options that fit my lifestyle and were age appropriate.

The interaction with the new store manager was amazing. She was very personable and ready and willing to help with whatever I needed. I had previously felt the environment was lacking in friendliness so I was glad to see that had changed.

Boutique can be cute but service is dismal. Every time I went I would spend a few hundred but I get treated so poorly. It's me specifically. I walked in and said hello to the owner Chani, and she ignored me, someone else walked In and she greeted them completely. This is not the first time. I'm polite, and my money is just as good as anyone else's, but I definitely stand out, I just didn't think this "mean girl" behavior would happen from the business owner themselves. My husband and daughter BOTH noticed on separate occasions that she was blatantly rude and ignored me. The clothes is pilgrim style flowing florals and tiny dresses for prom for 15 year olds anyway. Just came in today and was super impressed to find my new go-to place to shop! Very well stocked, new clothes every week and the staff really knows how to help you and make you feel comfortable with your choices!! Super happy I found a new place. I didn’t walk out with anything because I’m looking for a specific style for a wedding and had to be a bit picky but from trying on the dresses they are good quality and great prices. Will be back :) thank you again...
