On July 24, 2024 my husband and I became 1st time homeowners. So about a week before we was moving we decided to take a trip to Aaron's in Forest City to go and get the appliances and furniture set up for the day after we moved in to our new house. So we did, but the items we requested had to come from Hendersonville. So, on July 25, 2024 that afternoon Aaron's showed up at the house with our items, my husband wasn't home at the time, so I was there. The two gentlemen that came was unloading the items off the truck, the first items they took off the truck was our Brynn Reclining Sofa, Reclining Loveseat, and the Glider Recliner. Well, as they was getting them unloaded off the truck, they were still in the boxes of course but they were popping the boxes off of the couch and I noticed these little black round pieces coming off everywhere, and off our sofa and I noticed as they was putting the sofa in the house I noticed that at the end of the sofa at the bottom of it one of those pieces was broken off, so I informed them about it, and they acted like it was no big deal. So after all the living room furniture was put together I seen the older gentleman moved the sofa to straighten it up and to center it, but then I heard this awful grinding noise. I knew right then and there that they done scratched up my brand new hard floor (mind you, this house we just bought is brand new from top to bottom in the whole house) so at this point I was literally pissed as all get out!!! (The deep gash in my floor is 19.5 inches)Then they messed up my living room wall by hitting the couch against it!! By this time my husband came home from running arrends. I then informed him not to touch the couch because they broke the bottom of it.They then put the washer and dryer in my laundry room, then had to take off the front door because of the fridge, which I know that is normal in most cases. Then on Friday, July 26th I called the store in Forest City and informed them that my dryer isn't acting normal and I need someone to come look at it, so one of the same gentleman came out on Saturday, July 27th and brought a baby wipe to try to fix my dryer, which I knew that was not gonna fix the problem! So they picked it up to have it repaired and let us a replacement dryer. They kept my dryer for 2 days short of being 3 weeks, they brought my dryer back on August 15th, but the older gentleman from the first time before brought it back and a young man that just started is what he told my husband and I. So they parked the truck in the middle of the street, and the older gentleman lowered my dryer but I noticed there was a big dent in my dryer, and when the older gentleman went to take the plastic off my dryer he used a box cutter and cut my dryer and left a huge cut in my dryer!! Then the older gentleman went to put the dryer in our laundry room, at that time my husband was in the house with him while I was sitting outside on the porch, a few minutes later my husband comes outside mad as hell and he tells me that the older gentleman didn't cut the faucet off because he was hooking up the steam setting to our dryer so my husband said the older gentleman was just standing there with the hose in his hand for a few minutes while water was going all in our new laundry room floor, all over our new drywall!!! My husband said he had to use 8 of our bathroom towels to clean the floor and our drywall. After the two gentlemen left, my husband and I went back there to the laundry room and we both had to still clean up water off the laundry room floor and the drywall!! And nothing has been done about it as of yet, we are still waiting!! Aaron's in Forest City hasnt even reached out to us either! My husband has been a great customer to Aaron's for many years, in Tennessee, and as well as Morganton and if my husband wasn't satisfied about something they always made it right! Forest City has completely disappointed us!! We have never got this kind of treatment!Their employees need to be more considerate when delivering customers...
Read moreMy daughter and I have been doing business with Aaron's for a long time. They are very nice people to work with, and if you have a problem with getting an item before the special goes off, they will always work with you. I would not deal with anyone else anymore. I just noticed a statement from someone about the price being too high. I admit it can be costly sometimes, but if you do what I try to do and pay off early, it's not so bad. When you are on a fixed income and you can't find anyone to give more credit because they don't think you make enough money, the best place to go is still Aaron's. I would rather pay more and get something I really need than have to do without. Nobody is going to...
Read moreAfter being a 'preferred ' customer for over 20 yrs, they do not negotiate what so ever. I was not told about the buy out option until the 15th month payment. Which was no longer valid I was told. At $160 per month for a ps5, and already paid 15 months worth, they could have given us an early buy out option prior to this...we were not given nor told about the buy out option for the ps5. I've decided to return ps5 3 months early due to the fact that they wrte very unprofessional, definitely not courteous. I will no longer...
