Chernoff's Jewelers — Local services in Fort Bragg

A friend that works in fort Bragg took one of my antique Seth Thomas clocks here to be cleaned and have any necessary repairs done. I was pretty sure how much it was worth ( I was way too low on my estimate)& said if it will cost more than $300 have him contact me first. I was told it might be over $300 but unless something unexpected was wrong with it it should stay under $350. And that would have been ok based on my value estimate. It hasn’t been there very long waiting for the work to be done and today I got a text saying it’s ready to be picked up. He sent me picture to show that it’s looks even better than I remembered. We discussed payment methods accepted and when I asked how much my bill is, I was very happy to hear that it was Only $200!!!!!i can’t wait to get it back home. I have several other antique clocks to be cleaned, etc and I will FOR SURE be taking them to Jeff. Very speedy service and extremely fair prices. And I now have the actual age of my clock and a better estimation of the clocks value. When my friends go to pick that one up I’ll be sending another one with them to be serviced and cleaned. I visited Fort Bragg for the first time and came across Chernoff's Jewelers in a quaint downtown shop. The area is so beautiful, but the jewelry in this shop is top notch. I bought a gorgeous white gold ring out of the case and had a Ruby and Sapphire put into it. I also commissioned them to create me a custom eternity band with an exquisite GIA certified diamond as the center stone. Finally got my antique Seth Thomas repaired after my failed attempts and lots of $$ by others. Thought it was too good to be true but here I am writing this 6 months later and the clock is still running smooth :) thank you so much you have no idea how much of a headache this was to me. Fabulous work and price, if you live anywhere in northern CA would highly reccomend this man for antique clocks/watches he's the real deal. Did what 3 others couldn't and more at less than 1/3 the cost....
