Dollar Tree — Local services in Fort Bragg

On November 23, my husband, daughter and I were shopping at the dollar tree in For Bragg , CA. We were shopping for a present for my daughter’s friend’s birthday. We collected our items and my husband was going out to our car while I paid with my daughter at the self checkout. All of a sudden this associate who looked like he was on drugs went outside and accused my husband of stealing. I didn’t know this was happening until after I checked out. After we drop my husband off at work (he’s a train mechanic who had his cover-all on) I went back to talk to the manager to lodge a complaint about the situation. At that time a man said he was on of the managers and when I let him know what had happened, he had major attitude. He was being a total jerk. I asked to speak to the store manager. He told me he was the store manager. I then asked for the contact information for the district manager when he said no he didn’t want to. There were customers in line who told him he wasn’t right. At that time he threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. I left and emailed corporate which was also supposed to be contacting the District Manager. I have yet to be contacted by anyone. I refuse to go in after the accusation of my husband and no one contacting up back. If you do go in beware of the associate who have a bunch of face jewelry who accuses people of stealing without cause. My husband didn’t pick up anything while...

Bad experience. A employee of this store is notorious for being rude to customers. A lady with curly hair and is usually wearing a pink hat somewhere between 20 and 30 years old but you will know exactly who I'm talking about when you hear her disrespectful mouth, I went into buy a few items tonight and she proceeded to make fun of me and the things I was buying and laughing at me and also getting other customers to laugh at me as well. Terrible experience. I'm calling up her manager tomorrow to let them know of the incident and then I'm calling corporate to complain about her too because this is not the first time this lady has been above and beyond rude to me at this store. They need new employees is my biggest complaint maybe one's that don't make fun of people's disabilities and that don't profile people harshly just to make a joke out of them. It's hard to not like Dollar Tree. In recent years some have objected to the addition of more expensive items, but 99¢ did this long ago. Their lower-average price being raised a quarter or two was not too popular with regular shoppers. However, they may not have known that the chain considered opening similar stores with slightly higher prices (I think some did actually launch) and they have been battling the need to raise the price for quite awhile.
