Never again! I was sold a lemon, which wasn't the fault of the store I realize. I live over an hour away, so I had to go back the next day. Logan started off as very helpful, he was trying to exchange my defective phone for a new one of the same model. He didn't know how to do this and tried calling several people to help, and no one could. He asked me for my pin to access my account and kept getting it wrong, resulting in him being unable to access my account for an hour. I expressed my annoyance with having yet a further delay. He was rude and said, it was too bad, like going to the DMV I'd have to wait another hour for him to even begin to sort this out... Um, ok. After being there for nearly 3 hours, Josiah his manager showed up, and he was helpful, but still couldn't save my 13+ years of contacts. With Josiah there, Logan was suddenly much nicer. He seems like a good kid, but his frustration at not knowing this aspect of his job was taken out on me... By the time I left there 4 hours after I arrived. I had a working phone but no contacts. Sucks, but whatever. I will live. When I got home I received an email saying I was not going to get the trade in credit I was promised. I called Logan back, and he said to ignore the email and it would be on my next bill... This didn't sit well with me so I called Verizon this morning. I am currently on hold with Verizon who also told me the $200 promotion I was offered was not credited on my account... so $300 in extra charges! She was able to reinstate the $200 promotion, but was told I would get $100 card in the mail that I can only use at Verizon to buy accessories. I would not have agreed to this, and would still have my contacts if given the proper information on the promotion. Very disappointing, and 2 whole days wasted in that...
Read moreUpgraded my Verizon phone here (did not know it wasn't a Verizon store because the Verizon logo is huge on the store). Was sold a "free" tablet with an upgrade as well as charged full price (over $600) for a new phone unknowingly . I was charged full price for the tablet as well as a phone# and access charge monthly. My husband did his upgrade and paid around $250 for his iphone upgrade which was supposed to include insurance and was told it would be $20 a month to add his line to mine. We were charged full price, insurance and $40 a month. It did take us a while to see the errors and figure this out. We emailed Heather Vellios via email numerous times as well as attached receipts and asked for her to contact us. The man who called us representing Heather assured us he will take care of everything and would get back to us in 48 hours. Had to contact him again after that time, again reassured us there was a mistake and he would get back to us. Every time he called he made assurances but never did anything. He seemed to talk in circles. We explained everything to him clearly and would have accepted a compromise, but couldn't get anywhere with him. Was he trying to exhaust our patience so we would give up? I see Heather has responded to other negative reviews on here, so please feel free to get in touch Heather. Read moreThe store staff was great and I cannot ask for anything better from them. However, the fact that you rely on a 3rd party fraud department who has employees who are not good customer service people is suspect. I was completely turned off from the way the fraud dept woman talked to both myself and Jose. If there was another service that worked nearly as well as Verizon’s in my area the attitude she had would have pushed me to that service. What makes it even worse is that she told both myself and Jose she could not give any reason why my account was being canceled. Once I contacted corporate and voiced my concerns the fraud department says all they need is a few more documents; I already gave my business license when I went in the store. So instead of just telling me that, the fraud dept woman gave me nothing but attitude and stressed me out thinking I couldn’t get this account after almost a decade of utilizing your services. Had she just said send me these additional documents my experience would have been much smoother....
