Super wonderful Jeweler and owner. He is very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. His inventory is just breathtaking. I especially love the antique/vintage fine jewelry. Who doesn't appreciate the fine art of yesteryear. I am planning my return trip to purchase at least one of the many I tried on. The owner is such a patient man. So much to admire in this beautiful quaint store, old and new pieces. The owner/jeweler also does custom work, and repairs. He was a true wealth of knowledge and had answers for my many questions. Go visit the shop please you will be wondering why you haven't stopped in before. Dawson's is a truly genuine and unique shop. Just be prepared to want everything you see. P.S. Greg was amazing. After 22 years of marriage, my wife's diamond popped off and was lost. She was devastated. After shopping around we decided on Dawson's. He had nicer diamonds for the same price and was a better value than the competition. Sathers tried telling my wife she needed to completely ditch the old ring, since it wouldn't hold up and buy a new one. Greg inspected it and said it wasn't necessary, saving us a ton. There was a mix-up with our phone number, so he even drove to our house to make sure we didn't have to wait longer. Couldn't be happier with Greg and highly recommended his services. After being quoted $300 for a very basic ring resize and another $400 for some unnecessary prong repairs at a well-known jeweler in downtown Foco, I looked around and found Greg. He made a point not to “talk trash” on his competitors and quoted me a price I could actually manage and that made sense to me, the layperson, for a ring resizing. I brought my grandmother’s small ring to him and he took his time with me to discuss the process and even showed me the diamonds under the microscope! What a joy! He made sure to keep the original engravings intact through the resizing. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Truly, your neighborhood jeweler!
