Stopped by Galleria Mall today, excited to see an Argentine ice cream brand finally open here. I’ve been living in Fort Lauderdale for over 20 years and was genuinely happy to support them. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The two too-young guys working there were busy arranging things and ignored customers completely. No supervision, no courtesy. It was two minutes to 12 noon, and when I asked if I could get a latte and some alfajores—even planned to take home a few boxes—they told me they were “closed.” One didn’t even look at me.
